"SO, DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU guysare gonna talk about?" Mia asked from Jules' bed. "I don't know. It'll come naturally." Jules says, looking in the mirror and ruffling her hair. "Yeah, but you guys barely know each other." Mia responded, flipping through a magazine.
"That's what dates are for." Letty said, walking into the room. "Blondie's here." She said to Jules. Jules walked over to her window, looking through the blinds. "Shit, how do I look?" Jules asked, turning to the two girls. "You look fine. Now go." Mia said, pushing her older sister out of the room.
There's no going back now. The drive to the restaurant wasn't exactly quiet; there was some chatter, but the nerves took over. By the time the two got to the restaurant, they had finally loosened up to each other.
"So how is it, anyway, that the gang came to be?" Brian asked. Jules chuckled. "The gang? No, they don't call themselves a gang." Jules laughed. "Well, what do they call themselves then?" Brian asked. "We're a team. We call ourselves a team." Jules answered.
"All right, so how is it that the team came to be?" The blonde asked. Jules looked down at her glass, unsure of how to answer the simple question. "Well, that's a whole lot of history." Jules responded. "I've got time." Brian said, smiling at the girl.
Jules sighed, bracing herself. "Okay, Vince grew up with my brother. Actually, the loser never did grow up. As you can tell. Uh, but they were friends as kids. And Letty, she just, she lived down the street. Always into cars though. Ever since she was like ten years old. So, naturally, you know, my brother always had her attention. And then she turned sixteen—"
"And then she had Dom's attention." Brian cut Jules off as he put the pieces together. "Yeah. Yeah, it's funny how that works, isn't it?" Jules gave Brian a look. Just like her brother and Letty, the same thing happened to Jules and Brian.
"How is it that Jesse fits into the whole thing?" Brian questioned. "Jesse, well, he's got a place in my heart, and I'll never say why, but Jesse and Leon just sort of showed up one night and never, ever left." Jules explained as the waiter placed a plate down.
"It's just the way my brother is, though. You know? Dom's like— he's like gravity. You know, everything just gets pulled to him. Even you, Blondie. You don't become his bitch for nothing." Jules joked. "Mm-mmm. No." Brian disagreed. "The only thing that pulled me in was you. Being friends with your brother is just a bonus." Brian told the girl meaningfully.
"That's good. It's nice to come first every once in a while. Want to go for a drive?" Jules asked, smirking at the blonde. Brian paid the bill quickly, rushing the brunette to the car. Brian dangled the keys in the air as Jules ran to the driver's side. "Give it, Blondie." She demanded with a cheeky grin.
Brian threw the keys to Jules, who caught them with ease. The two racers started driving around at full speed, but it was no fun. "I thought they called you 'racing princess," but it doesn't feel like it." Brian taunted. Jules laughed before pressing the gas, swerving through cars, and pulling donuts. She did this all the way to Harry's.
Brian and Jules got inside Harry's with the light on. "Well, that— that was hot." Brian said, pulling the girl closer to him. "Oh yeah, well, that's just one of my specialties." Jules smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. "What else you got?" He mumbled as their lips brushed against each other. "I can show you." Jules whispered back, pressing their lips together.
Brian held Jules' waist, pulling her in the direction of his room at Harry's. The room wasn't big, but it had everything a person could need. Brian guided Jules onto the bed, admiring her as she laid down with a smile and a faint blush.
Brian grabbed the collar of his shirt and took it off. Jules watched Brian's every move as he trailed kisses up Jules' stomach to her neck, then lips. "Many specialties." Brian said, making the Toretto girl laugh and pulling Brian in for more.
Later that night, Jules stirred awake, feeling the loss of warmth provided by Brian. "Yeah." She heard Brian say something to someone on his cell. "Who is that?" Jules asked in a sleepy tone. "Uh, just wrong number." He answered, looking at Jules the same way he did a couple hours ago.
Jules could feel the butterflies enter her stomach again as he looked at her. "You're so pretty." He complimented her, leaning in to kiss her. The butterflies burst into Jules' stomach, and she didn't mind.
