THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY OF
Brazil would've warmed Jules' heart if she hadn't been running from the government. She sat in the passenger seat with Brian driving.

She reached her hand over, running her hand through his hair and going down to his hand. Brian grabbed her hand, placing a kiss on it as they got to their destination.

The two lovers stepped out of the car, observing the surrounding area. "It's gotta be it, right?" She asked, taking Brian's hand as they walked down the path. Jules' sense had been heightened ever since being wanted, so it didn't exactly faze her when Brian and she were circled by people with guns.

"Let's get out of here." Brian said cautiously, as he turned to head back to the car. "Whoa! Whoa!" Vince's voice shouted as he spoke Portuguese to the people. "Julianna." Vince greeted.

"Never thought I'd be happier to see you, loser." Jules's voice softened as she wrapped her arms around Vince. When they let go, Vince looked towards Brian. "Buster." He grumbled.

"Hey," she nudged his shoulder. "He paid his dues." Jules defended, looking at Brian, who displayed a cocky smirk. "Come on." Vince huffed, dropping the conversation as the two followed up the steps.

"Dom here yet?" Brian asked. "Nah." Vince answered. "When was the last time you heard from him?" Jules asked worriedly for her brother. It had happened again. Her family was split up, and it had been too long since she last saw them.

"Uh, a couple of weeks ago, up in Ecuador somewhere." Jules looked back at Brian. At least he was heard from. "How's it feel?" "What's that?" Brian asked as Vince turned to face them. "To be on the other side of a wanted poster?"

Jules gave Vince a look as Brian wrapped an arm around her waist. "He'll show up." "He better." Jules mumbled. When they entered Vince's house, Jules could not believe her eyes.

"Mia?" she called quietly. "Hey Jules." She said just as quietly with tear-filled eyes. The two siblings slowly embraced each other, holding on tightly with fear that one would vanish. "How long have you been here?" Jules asked when she pulled back.

"For a while now. God, you both must be hungry and exhausted." Mia said, looking at Vince and Rosa, who held their baby, Nico. "I'll make you two a plate." Rosa said, handing Nico to Vince.

When the couple's eyes laid on the food in front of them, they were more than grateful. It had been a long time since they had a true meal, so they didn't care how they were looked at.

As Rosa washed the dishes, Jules held baby Nico in her arms, amazed at how a man like Vince could build everything up again and create a family. "Hora de dormir, pequenina." (Time for bed, little one) Rosa said as she finished the last dish.

"Passo trazê-lo?" (Can I bring him?) Jules asked, kindly. Rosa walked past Brian and Vince, first bidding them goodnight. Jules followed, Nico in her arms before stopping to smile at Brian and then followed Rosa to Nico's room.

Jules swaddled Nico slightly as she put him down gently in his crib. Jules smiled down at the baby, loving how something small held so much innocence.

As the thoughts consumed Jules, she felt a wave of nausea. One that she'd been feeling for a while. "Excuse me, sorry." Jules mumbled to Rosa, holding a hand to her mouth as she rushed to the bathroom.

Jules rinsed her hands and took a deep breath, looking at herself in the mirror. "Does he know?" Mia asked from the doorway, with Rosa beside her once Jules turned around. Jules nodded her head as guilt filled her body.

The two women didn't push Jules any further as she walked past them, heading towards Brian and Vince as only Mia followed. Jules walked behind Brian's seat, placing a hand on his shoulder, giving him a comforting squeeze as she sat down.

"So, listen. There's a job coming up. I was hoping Dom was gonna be here by now, but this one is clean enough we can do it without him." Vince said as Brian watched Jules pull a piece of hair behind her ear.

"It's a good gig. Couple of high-end cars, easy targets. Guy I know is puttin' together a team to swipe 'em. Just need a few more willing bodies." Vince explained as Jules and Brian stared at each other.

"I don't know," Brian answers, taking a sip of beer. "Look, the way the car scene is down here, we can unload them quick and get top dollar. It's easy money. And from where I'm sitting, it looks like you all could use the payday." Vince said, examining the three in front of him.

Jules looked at Mia first before she looked at Brian, who was already staring at her. Technically, they could use the money.
