Normal nights typically look like having a nice dinner, maybe a chill movie to pass time, a book in hand perhaps, relaxing with your eyes closed until you fall asleep.
Karina's nights start off at her balcony, a glass of Disaronno in her left hand, a burning dart in her right as she looks out into the city below her.
It's silent.
That was Karina's favorite part.
But amid the scenery and luminous landscape, the phone buzzing in her pocket begs for her attention.
She didn't want to pick up after reading the caller ID. Though she still picks up.
"Hello"
"Ah, Jimin. Are you busy?" The man over the phone asked politely.
"why"
"I was wondering..maybe if it's not too late we can both meet up?"
Last time she checked her phone, it was one in the morning.
She had other things to take care of tonight.
and that other "thing" so happens to walk out onto the huge balcony, bare foot padding across the wooden flooring, causing Karina to hang up the phone.
It's Minjeong, the girl standing there in the oversized white button down Karina had in her closet.
"awake, my angel?" She walks up to the smaller girl, a chaste kiss on her forehead.
Minjeong yawned in response, the outdoor breeze slightly grazing her skin alongside Karina's touch.
"You weren't in bed." the short haired girl retorted.
Karina couldn't help but laugh at the pouting girl. "I'm sorry baby," she drank the rest of her liqueur as she sat on the seat nearby.
"I had some things to take care of."
Knowing how busy Karina could be, Minjeong couldn't really fight back. She knew how preoccupied Karina was on a daily basis.
Karina pulled the smaller girl onto her lap, her nose taking in Minjeong's sweet and familiar gentle scent.
She smelt amazing,
But the girl squirming on her lap didn't seem to think the same way of Karina.
"You stink.." she whined.
"Want me to put my cigarette out?" Karina chuckled at the girl.
"w-whatever." The girl looked away.
Even if she smelled of cigarettes, Karina looked amazing as usual.
