With the information Anya had given us, we could figure out how to open the laptop without causing it to self-destruct. I am excited to figure out a way to open it because I love puzzles.

"You ready?" he asks as we sit in the car outside David's place. I called Sibo, she said we have ten minutes to find the laptop and she will guide us through the house to where we thought it is.

"Alright Sibo, we are going in."

"Okay, cameras are on a loop and the electric fence is off," she says in our ears. Have I ever broken into something? Never but Kai has and we are following his lead. "The door will open... Now." he pulls the handle and it opens, we walk through and close it. "Keep walking down that hallway and make a right when you can."

With Sibo in our ears, Kai leads the way and I follow, at times I act like I have no brain cells of my own because I know he will always think for me and it is absolute bliss relying on someone else to shoulder the burden of thinking so you can follow.

She tells him the password for the door and we get in and shut the door

"I do not know where exactly in the room it is." I head to the desk and start searching the drawers while he searches the table and cabinets.

"I think I found it but it's locked," he says and I head to where he is

"Let me have a look." I used to pick locks back when I was in high school and I know he used to do so as well. Of course, I am better at it but he is also great. "Done." opening the safe, the laptop sits covered by a clear case, probably bulletproof.

"Okay, so getting it out might be tricky but remember I'm here."

"What do you mean?"

"The doors have metal detectors so the doors and windows are not options but the vents are."

"The vents?" I want to scream "How tight?"

"Wide enough for Kai."

"Will my ass fit?"

"Girl, I hope so." we laugh before heading towards the vent. He takes the screwdriver out of his pouch, he calls it a utility bag and I see why he uses it. 

We are wearing masks so the dust in the vent does not affect us that badly. Sibo leads the way out and we get outside, we dash for the gate, running through a field of green-wearing black, covered in dust. 

"Hey!" I look back and it is one of his guards, a military man. Do I think I am faster than him? Yes. I just wonder if I will jump over the wall fast enough.

Kai notices and of course, he goes faster prompting me to run faster. We get to the wall and he helps me over and hands the laptop to me and he waits for the military man. Was it stupid of us to leave our guns? Maybe.

Kai aims for the man's jaw and he covers before delivering one to Kai's gut, taking him back and allowing the man to hit him again. Taking out my pepper spray, I get down and spray him with it and Kai hits him in the jaw allowing the man to fall to the ground.

He helps me back up that wall and gets over it himself.

"That sounded dramatic."

"We nearly died Sibo,"

"Thank God they are not allowed guns when he is not there." from the house we head to an abandoned field and pour petrol on the car and torch it.

Are we walking to the nearest place we can get an Uber? Yes. We torched our clothes with the car. We also brought a duffle bag to place the laptop in.

"Now to figure out how to open it."

"We will think about it when we get home."

"You want to talk about the fields of green we are seeing?"

"Oh, you want a story?" a chuckle and he nods. We walk for four hours to the nearest town, we went to a motel as we were both exhausted.
