The bright yellow sun was streaming through the windows and Jess Henderson woke up with Steve's hand wrapped tightly around her waist as her legs were on top of his. She slowly pulled herself up, and rubbed the sleep from her big green eyes, her eyes danced around the room at Steve's alarm clock that the two had so carelessly forgotten to set so Steve wouldn't be late for work. ''Shit,'' she whispered. Steve's eyes slowly started to open now, noticing that his girlfriend was already up he planted a small kiss to her forehead and continued to until he slowly went down to kiss her neck.
''Good morning, beautiful,'' he exclaimed. Jess smiled at this but she pushed Steve back lightly on his chest. ''Something wrong, Jessie bear?''
''Morning to you too but you're going to be late for work, Stevie boy,'' Jess exclaimed.
Steve pulled away from his girlfriend, he looked at his alarm clock. ''Shit, shit, shit I'm going to be late.''
''Exactly what I just said, dingus,'' Jess rolled her eyes.
Steve rummaged his closet for his 'Scoops Ahoy' sailor outfit that he hated and Jess always seemed to make fun of him in it. ''That's what Robin calls me,'' Steve rolled his eyes as he pulled on the uniform.
''And she's right now hurry up,'' Jess laughed.
Jess rushed into the kitchen to quickly make Steve a quick breakfast while Jess did this Steve did his normal hair routine with the Farrah Fawcett spray. Steve entered the kitchen and Jess slid him the jam sandwich she had made him across the bench, he shoved it all into his mouth. ''Thanks Jess, that was yummy,'' he exclaimed, his mouth full of food.
''I'm surprised you could actually taste it considering how much you just shoved into your mouth,'' she laughed.
Steve swallowed down the food before kissing Jess on the lips, she could taste the stickiness of the jam on his lips, they were at it hot and heavy, making out as Steve lifted Jess up onto the bench. As much as Jess wanted this from her boyfriend she gently pressed at his chest, forcing him to pull away. ''Steve, you're going to be late, you don't want to get fired,'' Jess exclaimed, now shoving him out the door.
''Okay, okay, all right, all right but you're coming to see me at work right?'' he asked.
''Yeah, yeah of course but I have to go see Dustin first, he comes home from science camp today,'' Jess replied.
''All right well tell the little dork to come say hello to me, okay?'' Steve told his girlfriend as he gave her one last kiss.
''Aye, aye captain,'' Jess mockingly saluted him. Steve just sighed, wishing he could just spend the rest of the day with his girlfriend instead of going to work. Steve then took off down the road to 'Starcourt Mall.'
Jess had just gotten back home as soon as her mum had parked the car into the driveway of the Henderson household, she waved and noticed Dustin stepping out the car. He grinned a toothy grin before running over and engulfing his sister in a massive embrace. ''Welcome back, Dusty, I missed you,'' Jess exclaimed, returning Dustin's hug.
''I missed you too and guess what?'' Dustin explained, heading inside the house with his sister as their mum unlocked the front door.
''All right, I'm going out with some friends if you leave while I'm gone be sure to be home by 7:00 stat,'' Claudia exclaimed.
''Okay, mum will do,'' Jess replied as Claudia headed back outside and driving away in her car.
''Okay as I was saying, guess what?'' Dustin asked his sister, as they entered his room.
''What is it Dusty?'' Jess asked, eager to know what her little brother was going to tell her.
''I met someone when I was at camp, she's a practical genius and her name is Suzie,'' Dustin replied with a huge toothy smile plastered onto his face.
