Steve rolled his eyes but proceeded to go full on protective mode with Jess following after him but Steve stopped her. ''Go back inside Jessie bear, stay with the kids. I got this, okay?'' he smiled.
Jess nodded, trusting him and headed back inside with the kids. Steve stood in front of the door frame with his hands on his hips.
''Am I dreaming or is that you, Harrington?'' Billy questioned, leaning on the edge of his door with a cigarette in between his lips.
''Yeah it's me, don't cream your pants,'' Steve replied back sassily.
''What are you doing here, amigo?'' Billy now asked, slamming his car door and pulling off his leather jacket.
Steve walked towards him. ''I could ask you the same thing, amigo,'' Steve sassed back, probably adding the word just to sound cool and copy Billy not really knowing what it means.
''I'm looking for my stepsister, a little birdie told me she was here,'' Billy replied.
''Huh? That's funny cause' I don't know her,'' Steve shrugged.
''Small? Redhead? Bit of a bitch,'' Billy tried leading him on.
''Doesn't ring any bells, sorry buddy.''
Billy sighed, taking his cigarette away from his lips. ''You know, I don't know...this...whole situation Harrington it's giving me he heebie jeebies.''
''Oh yeah why's that?'' Steve asked, trying to sound tough.
''My thirteen year old sister goes missing all day and then I find her here in a stranger's house and you lie to me about it,'' Billy replied, chuckling and licking his lips.
''Man, were you dropped a lot as a child or something? I don't know what you don't understand about what I just said. She's not here,'' Steve sassed.
''Then who is that?'' Billy pointed to the window, seeing Max and the kids with Jess by the window. Jess ducked them back down.
''You shitheads,'' she whispered.
Steve turned to the window. ''Oh, shit...listen,'' he exclaimed but Billy shoved him to the floor.
''STEVE!'' Jess called out from inside, she made her way in front of the doorframe standing front of it to see Steve on the floor.
''I told you to plant your feet,'' Billy reminded him, kicking him in the lower gut with his heavy booted foot.
Billy stormed over towards the doorframe, Jess standing there ready for a fight but before she could even throw a punch a hand was clamped around her throat, Jess's feet slowly brushed against the ground before being lifted up completely. ''Just when I thought you couldn't be more of a stuck up little bitch you go and date Harrington and hang out with Max and you lie about it just like Harrington,'' Billy said, squeezing her throat as Jess started choking and struggled to breathe and before she could even process everything she was thrown across the room, hitting her head on the wall, blacking out.
Steve managed to pull himself up off the floor, clutching his stomach in pain as he headed to see Jess blacked out on the floor beside the wall, he knelt down and shook her. When she didn't wake up Steve shook her again and this time Jess slowly started opening her eyes. ''Hey Jessie bear, you okay?'' he asked.
''Lucas, Steve, Lucas,'' was all Jess said, still a little bit out of it.
Steve didn't know what his girlfriend meant at first but he soon realised and saw the situation going on with Billy and Lucas. ''You're dead Sinclair, so dead,'' he shouted, about to punch him.
Steve pulled Billy back away from the younger teen. ''No, you are,'' he shouted, punching Billy in the face.
''Looks like you got some fire in you after all, huh? I've been waiting to meet this King Steve that everybody keeps telling me so much about,'' Billy taunted.
