The closer graduation came, the more Caroline got to boss them around for the next two weeks only, Caroline had dragged Elena Gilbert out of the house to mail out graduation invitations to her family members who didn't live in Mystic Falls.

"Have you talked to her yet?"

It's been two full days since Elena flipped her switch on, and in all truth Kate didn't want to see Elena, not that she didn't want to. It's just hard to see the only family you have left snapped back to normal like if she never made the past three weeks a living hell.

Kate signs shaking her head, bringing down her tank top and tucked the bottom of the top into her jean skirt, "we live in the same house but she's been living under this mask of angry because of Katherine."

Stefan came up from behind her, staring at the shorter human through the mirror, he couldn't stop thinking about the night at prom, he almost lost Kate because her sister was jealous and god he didn't know what he had done if she did die.

"I can almost hear you thoughts." Kate says twisting her body to face him, her chest almost touched his, slowly pushing her butt on the desk as stared up to him. "What is it?"

"Do you remember prom?" Stefan asked crossing his arms over his chest, moving away back letting her walk towards her bed, Kate chuckles and nods. "Of course I do, why bring it up?"

"Elena almost killed you that night and if it weren't for Bonnie..." Stefan trailed off feeling the same feeling he felt that night at the dance, sadness and anger. He tear his eyes away from her doe ones, "you would have been dead, a-and I don't know what I would have done if I lost the only good thing in my life."

Kate gaze softened pushing off the bed, walking towards him taking his face in her hand making him look her. "Stefan... I'm not gonna lie to you and tell you I wasn't scared because I was, I thought my last memory of Elena would have been her vampire teeth and it's was not pretty sight."

Stefan hums and chuckles lightly, Kate smiled dragging her hands down to his arms. "but, I'm okay am going a lot better and am happy to know that you still care and I appreciate that."

"I will always care." Stefan said quietly enough for her to hear, he grabbed both of her hands binding them together. "Even if you hate me or that we are no longer together. Nothing you can do or say can make not not care, I'll care hard, harder then ever."
