KATE AND CAROLINE WERE back on school campus with Elena after the vampire told them about Damon coming by last night and wished that she felt something when she saw him but she felt nothing for him.

"You didn't feel anything?" Caroline asked, she was genuinely shocked by her statement. Elena shrugged.

"I felt... sacred and guilty. And his eyes were really, really blue and pretty." Elena exclaimed. Kate smiled and chuckled. "But, no. I don't remember loving him."

"So you don't remember, so be it." Caroline says, shrugging.

Kate cocked her head. "That's your advice?" Elena hummed looking over at the blonde.

"Well, look at your life right now." Caroline spoke up. "Elena, you're doing well in school. You're following your dreams. You met Liam, who also has very pretty eyes."

Kate furrowed. "Who's Liam?" Elena turned to her, going to speak when the blonde beat her to it. "He's this guy Elena met long ago, he's really cute— anyways. He's never killed your brother."

"True." Elena nodded, taking a sip from her coffee. Kate didn't know how to argue in Damon's case when one of them didn't remember ever loving Damon and the other didn't like Damon with Elena.

"I mean, I just have Stefan the friend boot. Maybe a little break from the Salvatore brothers is in the cards for the both of us." Caroline told them, she quickly realized that Kate was still in a relationship with Stefan.

"Expect for Kate." Caroline says, placing a hand on her shoulder. Kate nodded. "Yeah, I'll just not talk about either of them around you."

Caroline smiled and she looked past Elena's shoulder. "Look, Mcdreamy's coming." Kate looked back to a tall darker haired man. "I got to go, see you later. Kate, come on."

Caroline stood up, looping her bag over her shoulder. Kate turned to her. "But I want to met this guy." Caroline hooked her arm through hers. "Some other time, come on."

"Bye, Elena." Kate waved as the male joined her.

Kate, Stefan and Caroline we're currently on the way to Enzo and Matt after Tripp's men took Caroline's mother, they found out that Tripp was taken so they used Elizabeth Forbes as leverage to get Tripp back.

Caroline was furious and beyond upset with herself, she hated that she didn't call her mother like she normally would every morning when she woke up and the one time she chooses not to, her mother gets taken.

Enzo propped the door open and he smirked at the sight of the blonde. "Hello, gorgeous" Caroline sighed and stepped through.

Kate hummed, eyeing the vampire. "Enzo." The male nodded his head as she walked through with Stefan closely behind.
