"You don't find this weird?"

Bonnie says with her phone in hand and Jeremy standing before her without a shirt on, his hunters tattoo on display for them to see, Kate had refused to share the same boat with Stefan and Rebekah, Stefan had tried talking with her but Kate refused, she wasn't ready to talk with him.

So instead of being with her twin or Stefan she stood by her best friend and brother instead, "not really, pretend that I'm not here." Kate ushers her away from her crouched spot by the rocks.

Bonnie smiles shaking her head, moving to take more pictures of Jeremy' arm. "Sorry, if there was a less awkward way to do this, I would."

"Doesn't bother me." Jeremy says flirting, Kate mentally gagged at his words. Bonnie grins touching right above his heart. "These symbols must have been left for the hunters' so they could find the cure." She moved down to his arm. "and this must me the story of Qetsiyah and Silas."

Kate stood up moving over to the pair, caressing the tattoo on him, "according to Shane, Silas asked Qetsiyah for help, making a spell for immortality. She helped make him immortal only to learn he planned to use the snake spell on another woman... not her."

Kate raised her brows turning over to Bonnie. "When she found out, she freaked."

"So, Qetsiyah killed the other woman?" Jeremy asked staring down at the image on his arm. Bonnie furrows nodding. "Yeah, Silas was immortal, she couldn't kill him. So she trapped him in a cave and buried him alive instead."

Kate glanced between them, noticing the sexual tension their eyes held. "Does it say anything about the hunters purpose in all this?" Kate asked running a hand down his arm.

"I was wondering when you'd ask." Shane came out from behind them. "Qetsiyah created a cure for immortality and then she buried it with Silas hoping that he'd take it and die. End up on the other side with her for all eternity but he wouldn't give her the satisfaction, so many centuries later, her descendants created the hunters to find him, cure him and kill him."

Shane took a pause seeing that they weren't quite understanding everything so quickly. "You know what? I'll explain on the hike. Come in. We gotta get going." Kate picked up her backpack and followed him and everyone else.

Kate didn't know how long the hike was but was glad she wore boots that were hike-able for hiking. "Satellite phone lost its signal." Shane says trying to find a signal from his phone.
