"Where did Vicki say she was going?" Sheriff Forbes asked Kate who sat opposite of her at the police station, Elena had told her everything about her now ex boyfriend beginning a vampire and promised that she'll keep their secret.
"No, I didn't really see Vicki." Kate told her honestly she didn't really see the girl only when she was killed, the sheriff nodded writing down a few words.
"Any sighs of violence?" Sheriff Forbes asked her, tapping her pen against the wooden table rapidly.
"No."
"Do you believe that Vicki has really left town?" Asking her final question.
"Yes." Kate nodded, the sheriff didn't believe the girl since every other person she in counters with had said yes, she then walked out to office, with rest of the Gilbert clan exiting out the building, to find Stefan Salvatore waiting for them mostly Elena.
"I'll meet you guys at the car." Elena told them, Kate chose to ignore Stefan she didn't trust him anymore not after everything. The Salvatore knew he had to find a new way to win her trust back, she was the only person he trust beside Elena.

"What's up with you guys?" Kate entered the living room to find her sister and Jenna lazily laying on the couch looking miserable. "I was dumped." Jenna scoffed crossing her arms.
"He's a jerk, he doesn't know what's he's missing out in." Kate was quick to defend her aunt mistakes to get back with her ex. "Thanks." Jenna smiled.
"Wanna keep it down over there?" Jeremy spoke from behind them from the kitchen table. "Why, what are you doing?" Jenna twisted her body turning to him.
"Homework."
Elena and Kate looked at each confused turning back to their brother. "Since when do you do homework?"
"I gotta finish this, I'm way behind, and I have a quiz tomorrow, so..." Jeremy trailed off looking through the stack of papers.
"What do you think? Alien?" Elena began to question their brothers strange behavior, after losing Vicki Kate thought that he'll be getting high non-stop but he wasn't.
"Some sort of replicant." Jenna whispered.
"He can hear you." Jeremy huffed in annoyance, going back to his work.
