Kate was in her bedroom when her sister had came back from her boyfriends place and had just found out that he was a vampire, she then heard a door slam she grew curious, making her way down the hallway.

"Lena?" Elena had opened the door, all shaken up almost scared to returned into her room her eyes were red and watery, "what happened are you okay?"

Kate grabbed her sisters arm, pulling back when she flinched. "No, no." Elena fell into her arms bursting out in tears, Kate didn't know why she crying but took her into her arms.

Kate had stayed with Elena that's night in her room with the moon reflecting in her face, while Stefan stood outside there home, then the oldest Gilbert raised up from the bed shutting the curtains.

Kate woke up that morning alone in Elena's bed, she didn't know where her sister went at 8 in the morning since neither of them had school it was the weekend, but she still got up making her bed and having a quick shower before getting dressed and walking downstairs.

"Jer, do you know where Elena went?" Kate entered the kitchen seeing her brother with Vicki who was eating a bunch of their food even if some of the food was cold.

"What's happening—" The older Gilbert was yanked out the kitchen by Jeremy before swiftly shutting the double white doors behind them. "Vicki? what's wrong with her?"

"I don't know, one minute she's all over me and the next she's eating like crazy and complaining that the sun is bothering her and that's it too loud."
Jeremy explained to her concerned about the girl in the kitchen.

"I'll call Matt then, he'll know what to do." Kate pulled out her phone as whilst her brother returned into the kitchen.

"Hey Matt, I need you to come over to my house..no I'm okay it's your sister she's here and doesn't look so good...okay I'll see you then." Kate slide her phone back into her pocket entering the kitchen nodding towards her brother.

After ten minutes of waiting the doorbell rang, Kate pushes off the wall as Jeremy went to open the door. "Where is she?" She heard Matt asked Jeremy.

"This way." Jeremy steps foot into the kitchen with Matt beside him. "What's she on?" He immediately asked knowing his sister history with drugs.

"I don't know." Jeremy told him as Matt approached his sister kneeling down in front of her. "Hey, Vic. How you doing?" The girl winched when he removed the sunglasses.
