BONNIE WAS OFFICIALLY BACK, she made a surprise appearance last night and also surprised Elena this morning at their dorms. Kate had informed Stefan about Caroline's sudden disappearance after her mother's funeral. Stefan didn't get a chance to check on Caroline when he found Elena unconscious and Caroline nowhere to be found.
Caroline had quite literally taken everything, her clothes were gone and her bed was bare. Stefan had checked the Forbes house and found that it was completely empty, Caroline somehow got everything cleaned out out just hours after her mom's funeral.
Kate was worried for her blonde friend, who just happened to turn off her humanity, they knew it was bound to happen, something just pushed her over the edge.
"My not flannel blouse, my not flannel t-shirts, and— ooh! I really missed my not flannel v-neck." Bonnie exclaimed, grabbing the shirt from inside her dresser.
Kate chuckled from her spot in her bed, Elena grabbed the champion bottle. "Suck it 1994!" She popped the cork off with a loud pop, causing Bonnie to visibly flinch. "So I bought this bottle of champagne the same day that Damon and I thought we were gonna rescue you but obviously, we didn't."
Elena winched, pouring the gold liquid into three separate glasses. "So I couldn't drink it." Kate and Bonnie walked over to the vampire, taking each a glass. "So this is to you."
Bonnie smiled. "You were stuck there all by yourself while we were back here living our lives." Elena exclaimed. Kate pursed her lips, Elena cocked her head. "And this is the worst toast ever."
"I'm back home." Bonnie gleamed. "That's all that matters. Cheers." They clinked the glasses together, chugging down the drink immediately. Kate eyed Bonnie and chuckled lightly. "Okay."
Elena grabbed the champagne bottle, refilling her glass. "Can we talk about the fact that I drove Jeremy away to art school?" Bonnie declared with widen eyes.
"Does that make you his muse?" Kate questioned squinting her eyes. "Because eww." Bonnie laughed, and stepped away.
"Do me a favor, don't tell him I'm back yet." The witch asks, swirling the champagne around. Elena furrowed. "Wait, y-you haven't called him yet?"
"I just— I want to give him a chance at normalcy." Bonnie exclaimed, sitting down on her bed. "Before we just drag him back into all of this, you know?"
"Yeah, no, I-I do, too." Elena agreed, joining Kate on her bed that sat by Bonnie's. "But, Bonnie, you should at least tell him that you're okay."
