"Here we are. Senior year." The four girls stood outside the school entrance realizing how much time has gone, Kate didn't feel any different but she had to get through one more year of school.
"Anyone else think this should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie Bennett says scrunching her face with a shrug.
"Okay, so prank night was a bust but we are accepting it and we are moving on." Caroline examined as they began to walk towards the school.
"You're right." Bonnie agreed. "I mean, why should let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?"
"Yea, and why should I let the fact that my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid out a damper on an otherwise fabulous day." Caroline smiled sarcastically.
"I got nothing, but the fact that a very old yet hot vampire was in love with a vampire with my face." Kate said getting a nod from Bonnie and Caroline.
"Todays our anniversary." Elena stopped in her tracks making them stop as well. "Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year."
"Yeah, you win." Caroline sighs.
"Are you sure you want to be here?" Bonnie asks her, Elena had a very hard week, especially with her boyfriend turning off his humanity and also getting bitten by him.
"I have to be here, I have to put it behind me." Elena says smiling. "New year, new life."

Kate shoved her text books in her locker, turning over to her twin who rushed into the bathroom with Caroline, Kate zoomed out for a second when Stefan Salvatore slammed her locker shut almost ripping off her fingers.
"Dude!" She glared at him, Stefan ignored her keeping a smile on his face. "Why are you here? Don't you somewhere else to be?"
Kate wasn't mad at Stefan but she couldn't eraser what happened during prank night, and the kiss was still on her mind. "What!? I love school. Go timerwolves!" Stefan pumped his fist up in the air.
"Seriously?" Kate huffed reopening her locker to take out history text-books. "Look, I have to go, okay." Kate began to walked when a strong arm grabbed her arm.
