FOUR MONTHS AGO
HER EYES CRACKED OPEN, squinting around where might be her death place but when her eye sight adjusted she realized she was still standing in the same spot, holding hands with Bonnie.
Damon bluntly let go of Bonnie's hand, seeing that they didn't go through any pain let alone go anywhere. "That got awkward fast." He cleared his throat.
"What happened?" Bonnie asked peeing around the cemetery. "Where is everybody?" If they were on the other-side, they should be able to see everyone else. The Bennett witch took off, Kate furrowed looking over to Damon.
"Bonnie, where are you going." Kate asked when she quickly followed the witch with Damon hot on their heels, they needed answers and standing around wasn't enough.
Only a few minutes of walking, the trio found themselves in the middle of Mystic Falls, it was completely empty, not a single person in sight.
"Well, I feel a fang, so I'm still a vampire." Damon declared. "Either I'm a dead vampire or Mystic Falls is no longer magic free."
"Look." Bonnie pointed to the Grill, Kate followed her gaze and saw the Grill, shouldn't the bar destroyed? Like completely brunt to a crisp.
"I definitely blew that up about an hour ago." Damon pointed out.
"Why don't we see any people?" Bonnie asked. "I'd we're still on the other side, we should be at least be able to see the living."
Kate looked around the town, glaring at everything in sight. "Where the hell are we? And I didn't mean geographically"
"I have no idea."

Kate, Bonnie and Damon obviously stayed together, walking down the streets of Mystic Falls underneath the heat that they didn't miss. "There's something weird about these cars." Kate spoke up, looking up and down the street.
"Yeah, they're almost all twenty years old or more and yet they look brand new." Damon said, sliding a hand above the roof of one car as they passed.
When Damon paused and looked up to the familiar home, Kate felt her heart race, her childhood home was there like it was never burn down. It looked almost new.
"And that is your not so brunt to a crisp house." Damon exclaimed. They stepped forward, peering around the home, Kate stared down at the red wagon on the pavement as Damon reached down for the newspaper.
Damon looked down at the paper when he hummed and turned to the girls. "Look."
"Rare solar eclipse expected to be seen across twelve states." Bonnie read, Kate cocked her head not understanding the headline.
