They setting was perfect, the birds were chirping, the waterfall was beautiful as it gush down into the river, Kate head laid on Stefan's chest with her finger tracing right above his chest. "We could be anywhere, Stefan, why here, why this?" She asks leading on his chest with her leg tangled with his.

Stefan stared into her brown eyes, wanting to never look away lifting a hand to push her short hair back from her face. "These are the good moments, the simple ones, the ones that matter."

Kate smiled softly, threading her hand through his hair, watching his mouth move perfectly as he spoke. "These are the moments that keep me from falling apart," leaning down she capture his lips, cradling the side of his face.

"You know this can't last forever." Kate says sheepishly pulling away, slowing sitting up "you're just distracting yourself." Stefan stared off to the side when he looked back, Kate coughed clearing her throat until eventually she started coughing aggressively causing Stefan to sit up worried.

"Kate! " She grasped her throat coughing up the water creeping up her throat, "Kate! Kate!"

Kate walked into her dorm after getting herself and her best friends some breakfast, though making it through the hallway she noticed a lot of people crying at Megan's memorial outside their dorm, it was getting crowded.

"Hey, care, I bought us some breakfast bagels." Kate walked into the dorm setting the brown bag beside the fridge. Caroline hums. "I was craving a bagel, thank you, love you."

Kate smiles softly passing her the wrapped warm bagel, Caroline took a bite from the bagel before she continued to pack Megan' stuff in one single box, "Megan's memorial outside is growing by the minute." Elena says as she entered the room.

"Ugh, collage kids are so dramatic." Caroline exclaims scoffing, "she was on campus for like, one day. She couldn't have many that many friends."

"Caroline, she's dead." Elena reminds, feeling like one of them should feel sympathy for Megan. "You can stop competing with her."

Caroline sighs "Sorry, I'm in a mood."

Kate remembered hearing someone crying in the middle of the night, she assumed it was her imagination unit she heard Caroline from across the room. "Have you talked with Tyler?"
