Kate Gilbert surround her sister's bed that morning at Whitmore, her two best friends, Bonnie and Caroline entered the dorm room with bottles of liquor. "Okay, time to wake up, sleepyhead."

"It's not use, I tried many times to get her up." Kate says with crossed arms, peering down at Elena, Damon had broke up with Elena last night, just when she got home from being saved, she hoped to be in the embrace of her lover but it was all thrown out the window when Damon suddenly wanted nothing to do with her.

"No! I'm not leaving this bed." Elena mumbles, her entire body hid underneath the piles of blankets.

"Which is why we brought breakfast to you." Bonnie mentions, Caroline reached over, yanking off the blanket her frame, Elena pushed up to her elbows and noticed the large tray of food. "What's all this?"

"This is your breakup breakfast!" Caroline exclaimed, a huge smile on her face.

"So that it, your just giving up?" Bonnie asked, it was quite shocking that after the many years of Damon pinning over Elena and the constant need of wanting her, he ended up dumping her.

Elena sat with her back to the bed, she looked up to Bonnie and shrugged. "As she should!" Caroline said, pouring some orange juice into a glass. "I mean, he did say- and I quote. 'I am a bad person. I am bad for you, and I am choosing to let you go."

Kate met Bonnie's gaze, both coming to the realization that Caroline and tequila won't mix well. "You memorize my breakup?" Elena asked, furrowing.

"Of course I did." Caroline simply answered, passing her the mimosa she made. "Drink this." Elena took the glass, drowning down the entire drink. "I just have to face reality, if Damon makes up his mind about something, it's done."

"Yeah." Caroline nodded as Elena's phone rang, she perked up at the sound and Kate quickly grabbed the phone. "It's Stefan."

Elena signed. "Tell him I don't feel like talking." Bonnie looked back. "She didn't feel like talking." She repeated. Kate hummed and answered the phone.

"She doesn't feel like talking."

"Well, she's gonna want to talk about this."

The news about Elena break up with Damon was probably all on their minds, but when Stefan called, it quite literally changed everything. Katherine Pierce was dying and it was practically a celebration Damon demanded they should have.

"Seriously." Elena Gilbert walked into the study to find her brother, Matt and ex-boyfriend taking shots of tequila.

"Elena, we were just - uh..." Matt swallowed down the liquid. Kate shook her head watching Jeremy take one last shot. "I know what you're doing." Elena walked around and stood across from them.
