THE STORY OF MY LIFE

Part-32

At dinner,
Karan and Ahana were sitting at a cozy booth in a restaurant talking about anything and everything, Karan could just not keep his hands to himself.
After spending some quality time together, they headed to Malhotra house to pick Ayaan up.

Ahana- I miss my baby so much, I can't wait to cuddle with him

Karan- I am jealous of my own son, I mean I never get reactions or responses like this at the end of a hectic day at work

Ahana- such a liar you are Karan, I do cuddle you at the end of the day, in fact we do more okay so shut up, don't put nazar on my son and me

Karan just laughed at that.
Reaching Malhotra house, Ahana didn't even wait for Karan she just rushed into the house excited to meet her son.

Ahana entered the house only to find Ayaan already asleep, she pouted and sat on the sofa sulking to Vikram,

Ahana- papa see na Ayaan is already asleep, I was so excited to meet him, I missed him the whole day

Vikram ruffled her hair and said, even he missed you bache lekin he was very tired, after the park.

Karan came only to chuckle at Ahana's disappointment, he went and sat next to Vinita and said, yaar mumma aap ladies kitna shopping karto ho baap re, Ahana mujhe dopahar ko le gayi aur Abhi raat ke dass bajre hai

Vinita just smacked his head and said, teri problem kya hai, Ahana humesha toh nahi karti na, once in a while is okay

Vikram- Karan aaj yahi ruk jao, kal subah chale jaana

Karan looked towards Ahana for an answer who just shrugged her shoulders,

Karan- nahi papa, vaise bhi I will be coming here na tmrw evening
Saying this Ahana and Karan got up to leave with Ayaan in Ahana's arms.

Reaching home, Ahana tucked Ayaan in his crib while Karan was in the closet changing, Ahana walked into the closet and started pulling out all the necessities to pack.
It took Ahana two hours to sort out her shopping and do all the packing, huffing she went into the room to check to see Karan engrossed in his work. Ahana went towards the dresser and did her night routine, checked on Ayaan and then finally went to her husband and pecked his cheek gaining his attention, she asked

Ahana- let's sleep?

Karan- you sleep baby, I have to finish these they're important

Ahana hmmed and laid down on the bed and picked her phone to pass some time.

Karan- Janna sleep already please, I know you're exhausted with everything today

Ahana- it's okay I ll wait for you

Karan- you don't have too Ahana

Ahana- I have too, I want too, I want to cuddle close to you and sleep, I know you don't care about me, I also know you won't miss me , but I will, I will miss you so badly in these 3 days, I thought we could cuddle heck do something more but no it's fine, you work

Saying this Ahana turned her back to Karan and laid down, whereas sighing deeply Karan kept his laptop aside and back hugged his wife,

Karan- mera woh matlab nahi tha baby, you also know how much I am going to miss you, it's just that I haven't been at work all day, I have to handle stuff at the end of the day, I am not just any employee to not bother, I am the head baba I have responsibilities na, what happened to my ever so understanding wife huh, itna hi janthi ho mujhe, bolo?

Ahana turned and hid herself in his chest and cried bitterly mumbling numerous sorries

Karan hugged her back tightly and rubbed her back softly calming her down, feeling a little calm, Ahana lifted her head slightly from his chest and looked at him and said,

Ahana- mein bohot tang karti ho na aapko, sorry

Karan- pagal ho tum, tang vang kuch nahi karti ho, I love you meri jaan stop thinking so much

Ahana- I love you too

Karan slightly massaged her scalp, just the way she likes it and within minutes Ahana was fast asleep.
Once Karan was sure she wouldn't get up, he slowly slid outta the bed, dimmed the lights of the room, checked both mother and son and sat on the couch to finish his pending work.

Around 3:30am Karan finished everything and slid into bed and cuddled his wife and fell asleep.

The next day was a lazy start for the family, Ayaan woke up first and his cries woke his mumma up, who immediately calmed and silenced him as she knew Karan would have slept late and didn't want to disturb him.

Completing her and Ayaan's morning chores, Ahana woke Karan up and they had breakfast together, spent some quality time and Karan dropped them both off at the airport and headed to his parents house, where he will be staying till his wife and son come back.

Ahana's pov

Not gonna lie, I am really tensed to travel alone with Ayaan but if I mention this to Karan he would never let me go, that's why I didn't tell him anything.
I hope, pray and wish Ayaan doesn't get cranky. But my son looks so cute looking around and observing his surroundings.
Once we boarded the flight, I pulled out my stole and covered Ayaan and myself and started to feed him to prevent his ears from blocking, once the plane was stabilised in the air, I broke the latch and played some cartoons which caught Ayaan's attention, by the time the plane could land Ayaan was fast asleep, so I did everything I could to prevent his ears from popping.

Once we landed, I took a selfie of Ayaan and me and sent it to Karan saying I would call him once I am settled in the cab.

Stepping out of the airport, I saw a person waiting for us from the hotel I went to him and handed the bags and headed to the hotel, I called Karan on the way and spoke to him, but our conversation was short as he had to work.
Checking into the hotel, I laid Ayaan on the bed and changed into something more comfortable and slept.
