NAPAHINGA nang malalim si Regan bago niya muling binalik sa likuran ng kanyang pantalon ang baril na hawak. He was staring at their associates' dead body in front of him bathing in blood pooling up on the floor. Regan then pulled a stick of cigarette and lit it, puffing the smoke and blowing it through his nose. Their mafia's associate, Jameson, didn't give him the information he wanted as the man told him that what he gave Evo was the only information he had.
He never liked half-assed information as it was like cliff-hanging him. Gusto ni Regan ng maayos at kumpletong trabaho kaya naman tuwing may mga ganitong pangyayari ay hindi niya ito nagugustuhan. His men knew what he can do when he is mad, that's why they always do their job smoothly but Jameson was far from being obedient that resulted in his own death.
Narinig niya naman ang pag-uwang ng pinto na kinalingon niya. "Are you done?" Cain asked as he peeked on the door.
"Yeah." He nodded and took a quick glance to the dead body before walking towards the door. Inutusan ni Cain ang mga tauhan na linisin ang bangkay na iniwan niya sa loob ng kanyang torture chamber bago sila muling pumanhik sa upper floor ng bahay.
"Why are you here?"
"I picked the girl from the white room."
Napatango naman siya. "Right. I almost forgot about her. How is she?"
"Like how you wanted her to be." Cain answered and Regan grinned when they stopped in the living room and saw a teenager sitting on one of the couches. Lumapit si Regan sa dalagita na agad nitong kinatayo. He could see the fear in her eyes as she stared back at him.
"Aurea." Regan called her name. Bahagyang humakbang palayo ang dalaga sa kanya. She was on her defensive stance that made Regan chuckle. "Don't worry I will not hurt you again."
Mabilis na humakbang palapit si Regan sa dalaga at marahas itong hinawakan sa braso. Nanlalaking mata na napatingin si Aurea sa kanya na tila hindi alam ang gagawin. Her gray eyes were evident with fear as she tries to get away from his grip.
"Stop." Mariing saad ni Regan na agad nitong sinunod. "Fammi vedere cosa sai fare. (Show me what you can do.)"
Regan let her arm go and stepped backward before he turned his body and kicked Aurea to her side but she immediately shielded her body with her arms causing her to fall on the center table, shattering the glass top to pieces. Muling napangisi si Regan sa mabilis na pagharang nito sa atake niya. He stepped towards her and was about to pull her again when Aurea swiftly rolled away from him and stood up defensively.
"Buona. (Good.)" Regan nodded and sat on the long couch. "I will not tolerate weak and stupid people inside my house, Aurea. You will train with me until you can do your job alone. Capisce? (Do you understand?)"
"Si, capo. (Yes, boss.)" the girl nodded obediently. Regan waved his hand as he dismissed her and his men took her away.
"Nabigay na ba ni Evo 'yung listahan na hinihingi ko?" tanong niya kay Cain na naupo sa tapat niya. "I could just find that spy on my own or kill everyone inside that house but where's the fun in that, right?"
"He hasn‟t still given me the list as he was working with River on some kill order from the boss. Gusto mo ako na lang kumuha?"
Regan tsked. "Y'all being slow, Cain." He said and looked at him sternly. Napatango ito nang maintindihan ang gusto niyang iparating. "I'll just go and find her on my own." dagdag niya at muling tumayo bago lumakad palabas ng bahay.
Regan rode on his Ferrari and drive his way to the whore house and went straight to the club where he saw Uriel wiping glasses. Tumango ito sa kanya bago siya dumiretso sa back stage kung saan ang opisina ni Renalia. Walang ano-anong binuksan niya ang pinto at kumunot ang noo niya nang maabutan itong nakahubad habang nakapatong sa isa sa mga tauhan niya.
