HINDI alam ni Regan kung paano mapipilit si Rocket na ipaabort ang batang dinadala nito. He already tried different methods; from letting her drink abortion pills up to taking her to a clinic but that woman is hard-headed and couldn't even obey him for the last time. Of course he wouldn't just stop there and let the child inside her get big and live in this world. He'll do whatever he needs to do just to get rid of the baby and continue his plan of knowing the past.
And speaking of his plan, hanggang ngayon ay wala pa din itong progreso lalo na't hindi niya pa nakakausap si Rocket tungkol dito. Lalo na ngayon na may panibagong problema na naman siyang kinakaharap ay mas lalo siyang nahihirapan na pagtuunan ng pansin ang paghahanap ng mga sagot sa katanungan niya. Ang tanging alam lang ni Regan ngayon ay may itinatago si East sa pamamagitan ng pagbura sa pagkakakilanlan ng pamilya ni Rocket.
Kasalukuyan naman siyang nasa dining hall at kaharap ang laptop niya habang nagbabasa ng mga transaksyon na papasok sa Sicily para sa buwan na 'yun. He needs to go back to Italy as soon as possible but Rocket and her pregnancy is stopping him from doing so. Regan doesn't want to leave her with a child growing inside her belly as he really believes that it will only give him a problem to go along with his plans.
"What's up?" napatingin siya nang lapitan siya ni Zach at naupo sa gilid niya. He lighted a cigarette before clearing his throat. "Sevin is already recovering and asked me to tell you not to worry."
"I'm not worried. The operation was successful and there are no complications in his health at all. Just tell him to get the rest he needs and come back to the organization again. There are a lot of jobs for the both of you piling up.
Zach chuckled. "Cold but all right, I'll tell him." He said and nodded. "By the way, I heard Rocket is pregnant with your child and you want to abort it?"
"Yes."
"Why?" tanong nito na kinatingin niya. He raised a brow at him and Zach stared at him with confusion. "Why are you going to abort your own child?"
"I just don't want it."
"Wow. That's all?"
"Yes."
"And you don't care what Rocket will feel about it?"
"Zach," mariin niyang saad. "We both don't like the idea of having that thing inside her and I'm just making everything easy. If she aborted it then we don't have a problem, right?"
"But it's a life."
"Why are you arguing about this with me?" naiinis niyang tugon na hindi naman kinaimik ni Zach. He looked away and sighed before shaking his head.
"It's just, having a baby is a wonderful thing to have, Regan. I know you wouldn't get it but perhaps you can give this thing a shot. Cain isn't around anymore to tell you what you have to do. That's why maybe I can tell you this even if I'm in no position to scold you. This isn't just about you. Rocket will bear the child and not you." anito at nilapag ang isang envelope sa harapan niya. There was a black paper attached on the upper part of the result and it was just a white sack with a label six weeks. Hinawakan niya ang papel na isang sonogram at pinakatitigan ang litrato. It was oddly familiar. This scene, it feels like it happened to him before.
Sa pagiisip ni Regan ay biglang nanakit ang kanyang ulo. There are scenes flashing inside his head once again and it was really painful that he needed to grip his hair tight to try mending the pain.
