NAPABALIKWAS ng bangon si Regan mula sa kanyang kama nang magising siya mula sa pagkakawala ng malay. Naramdaman niya ang pananakit ng kanyang ulo at nang maalala ang pangyayari nitong hapon ay agad niyang pinulot ang kanyang baril bago nagmartya palabas ng kuwarto. His face was evident with anger and coldness as he walked down the stairs and heard a loud cry from the living room. Regan immediately saw his men trying to stop Rogue from crying and when his son saw him, he ran towards him to hug him in his leg.
"Mama!" malakas nitong iyak.
Regan clenched his jaw before holding Rogue in his head and turned his glare to Evo, Uriel and Wolf. "What the fuck are you all doing?!" his voice boomed and gave them all a gunshot in their legs. Pakiramdam niya ay sasabog na siya sa galit lalo na't tuluyan na siyang natakasan ni Rocket. If it weren't for that drug she injected, she wouldn't escape at all. "Goddamn it! Y'all already got her but you all still fucking let Rocket escape! I couldn't believe that even the three of you couldn't fucking contain that woman!"
No one said a word as he was letting all his anger out. He wanted to kill them from being useless but even if he done that, it wouldn't change the fact that Rocket escaped with his son.
Wala siyang maisip na dapat gawin lalo na't hindi niya alam kung sino ang mga kalaban na kumuha sa dalaga. Hanggang ngayon ay wala pa din silang impormasyon tungkol sa mga lalaking umatake sa kanila at alam ni Regan na ito din ang kumuha kanila Rocket. Thinking that Rocket and Rebel might be in danger is already giving him tons of anxiety.
"Tu sei tutto inutile! (You are all useless!) How could you let a single weak woman escape and you even let her bring my son with her?!" sigaw niyang muli at halos lumabas na ang litid sa kanyang leeg. "She had a fucking gun! She even took a fucking drug from the storage! Why can't you fucking guard that room very well?! Damn! Damn it all!"
"We tried following them but we lost them on our way to Cambridge. I think they switched vehicles as soon as they took that route." Sagot ni Evo sa kanya kaya agad niya itong nilapitan at malakas na hinila mula sa kuwelyo.
"Then you should've not stopped looking for them!" he yelled and pushed him away. Malakas na huminga nang malalim si Regan dahil sa sobrang inis. Wala siyang ka-ideya ideya kung saan hahanapin sina Rocket kaya naman mas lalo niyang nararamdaman ang galit sa dibdib niya.
"M-mister..." singit ni Rogue na kinatingin niya dito. Agad naman niyang binuhat ang anak na yumakap sa leeg niya habang mahinang umiiyak. Good thing that Rogue is in his care and he wouldn't think too much if both of his sons have been taken by Rocket.
He then turned his gaze to his men. "Find Rocket and my son. Don't fucking come back here until you find them. Do you fucking understand?!"
"Yes, boss." Mahinang sagot ng tatlo.
Dinala naman niya sa kanyang kuwarto si Rogue at inupo ito sa kama. Hinawakan niya ang braso nito at nakita ang ilang gasgas na natamo nito kanina pati na din ang noo nitong nasugatan. Regan then wiped Rogue's tears and caressed his head gently.
"Why Mama left?" umiiyak nitong tanong sa kanya. "Rebel, too. Why did they leave me, mister? Does Mama not love me anymore? Why did she only take Rebel? Why didn't she bring me too? Why she left me?"
"Shh. I will find your Mama and Rebel, all right? Stop crying." He answered and pulled Rogue's head into his shoulder. Patuloy naman itong umiyak kaya napahinga siya nang malalim at muli itong kinarga para matahanin. Rogue was clenching into his clothes tight and he can feel the fear in the way his son hugs him. He knew that he was not enough to make Rogue feel the security he needed but Regan will try his best to make his son forget what happened.
