"no!" billie yelled as she glared at her girlfriend. "there's no way in hell i'm doing this!"

"billie, come on. she's willing to work on your friendship so why can't you try as well?!" y/n exclaimed but billie only let out a frustrated groan.

billie's fourth day in new york and the couple had already got into an argument because y/n had suggested that billie and lanie hang out for a bit to get to know each other. lanie was apparently going to be staying with her for a while and y/n refused to deal with a jealous billie everytime lanie's name came up. so she only found it fit to fix the relationship between the two.

lanie had agreed almost instantly which quite surprised y/n but she took the win anyway. billie on the other hand was being a complete pill.

"y/n, i need you to understand that i don't want to spend time with her! i don't want to talk to her, talk about her or even so much as to look at her for that matter!" billie screamed and y/n was quite taken aback at her words.

"why do you hate her so much? she's never done anything to you." y/n spoke as she walked away from billie, shaking her head.

"you don't fucking understand!"

"then make me fucking understand, billie!" y/n yelled back as she threw her hands up out of frustration. "make me understand why you hate her. come on. tell me."

billie ran her fingers through her hair as she let out a shaky sigh. "y/n i'm leaving in three days." she said calmly, her voice shaking as she spoke. "why can't we just have a good time without arguing? i don't wanna fight. i hate fighting with you."

"i don't wanna fight either which is why i'm begging you to talk to her and i don't know, maybe become friends with her? or at least tolerate her. she's my friend, billie. i can't deal with you getting mad everytime she comes up."

billie wiped away the few tears that had streamed down her cheeks as she sighed softly. "i don't want to talk to her."

"please billie." y/n begged, unwilling to let this go. she knew better than to let billie hate lanie for the rest of her life. she wanted them to fix things. "please just do this for me."

rolling her eyes, billie let out a long sigh. "fine."

"really?" y/n asked with wide eyes, unable to believe that she'd actually agreed.

they'd been going on about this for at least fifteen minutes and billie was so tired of it, she was already losing her voice. she refused to fight more. so she nodded slowly, agreeing to y/n's wishes.

"thank you, thank you, thank you!" y/n grinned as she ran up to billie and engulfed her in a hug, billie melting at her touch as she let herself be held. "you won't regret this."

"i better not."

y/n kissed the top of billie's head before pulling away, staring at her face as she admired her features. "thank you for doing this, my pretty girl."

if billie had any amount of anger built up in her body due to the argument that took place mere seconds ago, it was all washed away as soon as y/n had referred to her as her pretty girl. butterflies swarmed her stomach everytime y/n called her "pretty girl" but when she added that possessive "my" to it? oh, billie wanted to swoon and fold right then and there.

"anything for you." billie managed to say as y/n caressed her cheek, involuntarily leaning into her touch.

"i'm sorry for raising my voice at you." y/n mumbled as she gently stroked billie's cheek, bringing her other hand around her waist as she held her close.

"i'm sorry too." billie admitted as she rested her forehead against y/n's, closing her eyes as she tried to match y/n's breathing.

"you're my everything, billie. my whole world." y/n said softly as she continued caressing billie's cheek.
