week in the woods

six weeks since they'd seen each other. six whole weeks. it's a mystery how billie hadn't gone ballistic yet. she'd missed her girlfriend far too much.

y/n was supposed to have flown to la the night before valentine's but some last minute filming plans prevented her from doing so. billie had been so excited to see her. she'd had their whole day planned out.

first, billie was going to wake y/n up with breakfast in bed. next, they'd exchange gifts which billie was really looking forward to, knowing y/n would love what she got her. after that, they'd go out on a movie date before having lunch outside, spending some time at the arcade before returning home. then when they came back home, they'd order dinner after which came billie's favourite part - sex, of course.

but then y/n called her the day before valentine's and told her that she wouldn't be able to make it.

yeah. that was not fun.

but y/n wasn't to blame here, billie knew that. her job didn't allow her to follow through with their plans which really sucked but what could she do? work is work. y/n couldn't do anything about it and neither could billie.

billie was really looking forward to surprising y/n with her new hair too. she'd finally gone blonde after weeks of trying. it took her so long to get the black out of her hair, she's surprised she didn't throw a chair at someone.

she was really glad about the outcome though. she was finally confident in herself and it felt great. she only hoped y/n would like her new hair just as much as she did.

she'd been wearing a wig all these days so as to prevent y/n from finding out that she changed up her hair and thank god for her camera's shitty quality, y/n hadn't found out. so she was dying to see her reaction.

speaking of y/n, she was supposed to be here any second now. it was the o'connell family's annual "week in the woods" and y/n had taken the week off for this. it was her second time being a part of this tradition and she was beyond excited.

at the sound of her phone ringing, billie reached for it and answered it immediately, pressing the device to her ear with an excited smile. "are you almost here?"

"i'm right outside baby."

billie squealed before hanging up, running to open the door to her cabin. her breath for caught in her throat when she saw y/n, her muscular arms on display as she carried her bags, wearing a tank top and shorts due to the heat.

"holy fuck." billie whispered before shaking her head to snap out of her trance, yelling out an excited "y/n!" which made the actress look at her and drop her things to the floor immediately.

"billie!" y/n yelled back with open arms as billie ran towards her, jumping into her hold immediately with a delighted squeal as y/n spun her around.

"your hair, oh my god!" y/n exclaimed and billie giggled as she nodded in response with one of y/n's hand under her thighs to support her weight. "it's blonde!"

"do you like it?" billie asked as she placed her soft hands on y/n's shoulders, staring at her as she tried to figure out what she was thinking.

"i fucking love it. you're so pretty!" y/n gushed as she pressed a kiss to billie's hand. "my pretty blonde baby."

billie blushed at her words, watching as y/n admired her. "when did you get this done? it must've taken ages."

"it did! i started over a month ago and i had to wear a wig so that you wouldn't find out." billie responded with a grin as y/n gasped softly.

"i cannot believe i did not figure out that you were wearing a wig."

"thank god for my phone camera's shitty quality!" billie giggled and y/n couldn't help but smile at how happy she seemed. seeing billie happy made her feel all warm inside and she wanted nothing more than to kiss the girl senseless.

so that's exactly what she did. she leaned up a little since she was carrying billie and connected their lips softly, billie's hands instantly caressing y/n's cheeks. billie smiled into the kiss as she stroked her thumb over y/n's cheek, whimpering into her mouth when y/n squeezed her ass.

pulling away shortly after, y/n looked up at the girl like she was the most beautiful person she'd ever laid eyes on. and to her, she was. "i missed you." y/n whispered as billie's hands went back to her shoulders, squeezing every now and then.

"i missed you too." billie mumbled as y/n felt one of billie's hands reach for her neck, her cold rings making her spine tingle. "so much."

"you're so fucking pretty i can't get enough of you." y/n mumbled as she planted a long kiss on billie's jaw since it was on par with her face. this made billie turn bright red, goosebumps arising on her skin as she pressed herself further against y/n's body.

taking this as an invitation to continue, y/n trailed kisses all along billie's jaw as she slowly began walking towards the cabin with billie in her arms, her luggage long forgotten as she shut the door behind them.

billie shivered under her touch as y/n reached her neck, knowing damn well what she was doing as she bit down on her skin before kissing the area to soothe the pain. "y/n." billie hissed, the pain and pleasure already too much for her to handle as she gripped her shoulders. "your luggage is still outside."

"who cares?" y/n mumbled against her neck as she reached her most sensitive spot, smirking against her skin before planting a kiss there. the softest of kisses on her sweet spot made billie's hips jerk up, her core pressed against y/n's stomach which made her let out a soft groan.

"we have to leave soon." she spoke, trying her hardest not to make her sentence sound like a moan. "everyone's waiting for us." they were all supposed to do some outdoor activities and were waiting for y/n to get here in order to do them.

"we still have time." y/n squeezed billie's ass which made her let out the softest of whimpers, tightening her hold on y/n's shoulders.

"you're supposed to be resting before we leave." billie spoke as y/n continued leaving marks on her neck, her sentence coming out as a moan this time as she didn't even try to suppress it.

"i'll rest after we're done." y/n replied, pulling away from her neck to see her work. a smile on her lips at the marks she'd left behind, she pressed one last soft kiss to her neck before walking towards the bed and laying billie on it.

reaching up to wrap her arms around y/n's neck, billie pulled her close with their lips pressed together, y/n's hands going between their bodies to unbutton billie's shirt.

"hey you two. i noticed y/n's bags were outside-" y/n quickly jumped away from billie and stood up next to the bed as billie sat up straight with her back against the head-board, both of them looking at a wide-eyed maggie as they mirrored her expression.

they had not locked the door.

billie quickly re-buttoned her shirt as she gulped softly, glancing at y/n who had an embarrassed blush on her cheeks as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"i'll just knock next time." maggie said with a hesitant nod, dropping y/n's bags in the corner before leaving as she closed the door behind her.

billie and y/n looked at each other for a few seconds before just bursting out laughing. "poor maggie, the woman must be traumatized." y/n spoke as she fell back on the bed, billie laughing as she lay next to her.

"god, i don't think i'll be able to face her ever again." billie giggled as she turned to her side to face y/n. "i told you not to do that."

"i'm so embarrassed." y/n's face flushed as she turned on her side to face billie as well. "what a wonderful start to our week in the woods."

billie chuckled as she wrapped her arm around y/n's body with a soft sigh. "i'm really glad you were able to make it here."

"i wouldn't miss it for the world. you know i love your family's little tradition of coming here every year." y/n spoke as she kissed the tip of billie's nose, making her scrunch it up adorably.

but unfortunately, this was her last time coming here.
