new years party

"come on buddy." y/n called out to shark as she grabbed his leash and led him out of the car, billie walking a little ahead of them as they made their way towards finneas and claudia's place.

right as she was about to ring the doorbell, y/n stopped her. "billie." she said softly which made her turn around to face y/n, surprised when soft lips were pressed against hers.

one of y/n's hands went around billie's waist, the other one still holding onto shark's leash to make sure he didn't run away.

billie smiled into the kiss as she brought her hands up to cup y/n's face, running her thumb over her cheek as y/n melted at her touch.

"break it up, lovebirds!" came josh's voice from behind y/n and they pulled away immediately, the actress groaning with a playful eyeroll as she turned to face her best friend and his girlfriend.

joshua and sabrina had also been able to make it back to la so obviously finneas and claudia invited them to their party.

"shut up, stupid." y/n grinned as she gave him a quick hug before moving on to hug sabrina as well.

sabrina and y/n had actually grown pretty close really fast. anyone who made joshua happy, y/n immediately loved. "hi bri." she smiled and hugged her tight, sabrina doing the same.

sabrina then moved on to hug billie, the green-haired girl holding her close as she smiled and greeted her. billie and sabrina had met when she visited new york the previous week and had hit it off immediately. there were already talks of going on double dates and such.

maybe even triple dates if finneas and claudia were willing to tag along.

"well, what the hell are we waiting for? let's go in. i've been waiting for this all day." joshua remarked and the three girls laughed softly before ringing the doorbell, the door swinging open mere seconds later to reveal a smiling finneas.

"hey you guys! come on in, you're right on time."

billie clutched onto y/n's arm and made sure to stay by her side as they made their way inside, seeing several other people spread around the house but not too many yet to make it suffocating.

"you're breath-taking, billie." y/n whispered to her as they walked through the house, still not over just how gorgeous she looked in her outfit. billie blushed as she looked up at her girlfriend and smiled, mumbling a quiet "thank you" as they walked into the living room.

seeing peach laying in a corner, shark immediately bolted towards her which ultimately made y/n let go of his leash with a laugh, using both hands to pull billie on her lap as she took a seat on the couch.

giggling at the sudden action, billie rested her back against y/n's front and laid her head on y/n's chest, watching people come and go as they greeted each other.

"y/n!" yelled a voice and y/n snapped her head in that direction, a smile on her face when she saw a blonde and a brunette walking towards the couch.

"zoe! drew!" she exclaimed as she waved at them, the two of them taking a seat on either side of the actress on who's lap billie was still seated on.

"we missed you!" zoe said as she hugged y/n from the side, drew nodding in agreement.

"yeah, how are you? how's filming? how's the cast?" drew chimed in, y/n chuckling softly at how interested they seemed to be.

"i'm good! filming is going great. the entire cast is super nice and we're all good friends already." she replied with a smile and they continued conversing for a bit until they were interrupted.

"billie! y/n!" one of finneas' friends called out and the two of them turned to face him as they waved with a smile.

"hey ricky! what's up?" billie grinned as she sat up straight since she was practically laying on her girlfriend, making herself comfortable on her lap as she accidentally grinded on y/n.
