you never came

billie did a final touch up on her make up, knowing her guests would be here any minute. she'd spent the entire afternoon decorating her house with help from finneas and claudia of course.

it was usually pretty abnormal for her to spend so much time and effort on her make up but this was for something special. she was finally going to see y/n after almost three weeks of missing her terribly. she certainly wanted to look good for her. and obviously she wanted to get laid tonight.

but i mean, could you blame her? it had been three weeks since she'd had sex with y/n. it sure as hell seemed like an eternity to her since they were intimate with each other quite often ever since they'd moved in together.

billie let out a satisfied sigh as she looked at herself in the mirror, pretty happy at how good she looked. she couldn't wait to see y/n's reaction.

but the thing was, y/n wasn't here yet. it had been at least five hours since billie had come to the conclusion that y/n was in the taxi on her way home. she surely would've been here by now if that were true.

maybe y/n was at finneas and claudia's? maybe she was planning on surprising billie by showing up at her party!

the sound of her doorbell ringing made her snap out of her thoughts as she walked out of her room, shark following behind her as she made her way down the stairs. she was pretty damn excited for her party.

she opened the door to be met with finneas and claudia's smiling faces along with peaches who ran into the house immediately, wanting to play with shark.

billie tried not to let it show that she was disappointed not to see y/n. but there was still a possibility that y/n was just waiting it out at finneas and claudia's place and was planning on surprising her later.

"hey you guys!" billie grinned as she hugged finneas tight, the older man kissing the top of her head before she went ahead and hugged claudia as well.

"happy birthday billie." finneas said as he gave billie a neatly wrapped gift, billie raising her eyebrow at the two of them.

"you already gave me a present when you came over earlier." she commented as she let them inside.

"we know, but we just wanted to get you something else as well." claudia replied which made billie chuckle softly before placing the gift on the table.

"hello baby." billie cooed when peaches came running up to her and looked at her. she bent down to pet her, the dog's ears perking up immediately which made billie giggle.

watching peaches enjoy attention from his mom made shark jealous as he ran up to her as well, barking to get billie to notice him.

"someone's jealous." finneas said in a sing-song voice which made the two girls laugh, billie using her other hand to pet shark as well.

a few seconds later the dogs decided they had better things to do and ran off to play with each other. billie chuckled before making her way to the couch, taking a seat next to claudia.

"so you said y/n's coming today? you excited to see her?" claudia asked and billie began smiling like an idiot.

"i'm so excited, you have no idea. i can't wait!" she exclaimed as a blush took over her cheeks at the thought of her girlfriend.

"any idea when she'll be getting here?" finneas questioned and billie only shrugged.

"i don't know. she'll be here though, i know she will."
