two days

y/n wanted to tell billie about new york that night, she really did. but billie looked so..happy. she certainly didn't want to ruin that.

and that's what she kept saying to herself every single day until she realized she had to leave in two days.

she paced nervously around their shared bedroom as she waited for billie to finish showering, trying to think about how she'd phrase her sentence.

yo bil, i'm leaving to new york for eight months the day after and i knew about this for almost two weeks but didn't tell you!

hi baby, i'm heading out for eight months bye!

maybe if she started crying..

she shook her head, not wanting to make things too dramatic. but who was she kidding, one of them would probably end up crying either way.

sure, new york and los angeles were only a flight away. but the problem was that with y/n's tight filming schedule and billie working on her album, there was no way they'd be able to visit each other often.

she froze when she heard the water being turned off which meant billie was done with her shower. y/n let out a shaky sigh as she took a seat on the bed, nervously playing with her fingers as she waited for billie to come out of the bathroom.

around two minutes later billie came out fully clothed, drying her hair with a towel. her eyes lit up when she saw y/n, a smile immediately making it's way onto her face.

"when'd you get back?" billie asked as she reached for the blow dryer, dropping her towel to the floor in the process as she plugged the device in.

"around fifteen minutes ago, i think." y/n spoke, referring to her returning from running a few errands.

billie nodded in response as she began blow drying her hair, not really noticing the stare that y/n was giving her.

y/n watched as billie ran her fingers through her wet hair, unable to believe she scored this goddess.

"you're so hot." y/n mumbled, billie's head snapping towards y/n, a blush evident on her face.

"yeah?" she asked, biting her bottom lip which she knew drove y/n crazy.

"mhm.." y/n hummed, completely forgetting that she was supposed to tell billie that she was leaving in two days.

billie gave her a slight smirk as she shook her head, continuing to dry her hair. around ten minutes later she was finally done and she made her way to y/n, making sure to give her a coy smile.

y/n's heart skipped a beat and butterflies swarmed her stomach as she met billie's eyes. sitting down on her lap with her feet dangling off the bed, billie slowly leaned in to connect their lips in a passionate kiss.

y/n was quick to wrap her arms securely around billie's waist as she pulled her closer, deepening the kiss as she tilted her head to the side.

but she soon snapped out of it, realizing she had to tell billie about new york. slowly pulling away, she stared nervously at billie who had her eyebrows furrowed.

"baby, i have something i wanted to talk about." y/n said, noticing billie's face morph into confusion.

"is everything okay?" billie asked softly and y/n noticed the genuine concern in her voice. giving billie a slight smile, she nodded as she tucked a strand of billie's hair behind her ear before she began speaking.

she did not want to do this.

"i just.." she started, taking in a deep breath. "you know what, i'm just going to say it." she mumbled, nodding to herself as she met billie's eyes. "i'm leaving to new york on the day after, billie." she said, noticing how billie grew even more confused.
