Some days later. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Hyunji turned off her light and got under the covers, laying on her side as she got comfortable. Closing her eyes as she drifted off, she heard the vibration of her phone on her nightstand.
"Ugh!" She groaned.
Rolling over to pick it up, a grin plastered on her face as she saw the person who texted her on Snapchat; Jungkook. Opening the message she squinted her eyes as the screen illuminated showing his message.
Jungkook: Are we walking Jay to the park tomorrow? 😉
Hyunji: Sure
Jungkook: What time?
Hyunji: idk whenever I wake up
Jungkook: Ok. Did I wake u up?
Hyunji: Kinda. See u in the morning
Jungkook: Sorry sleep well

Hyunji's feet hit the pavement as she walked the familiar trail, inhaling the summer breeze. Throwing Jay's ball for the thousandth time, she looked at her phone seeing no notifications. After she had texted Jungkook the previous hour she never got a response, after waiting twenty minutes with no reply she left and went to the park, letting him know that's where she would be.
Pulling her phone out of her pocket she switched her playlist as Hyunji turned back, seeing Jay running towards her before dropping the ball at her feet. Hyunji noticed his head perk up as he intently looked behind her, she turned around and saw a familiar figure jogging towards her.
"Hey!" Jungkook said out of breath. "Sorry, I guess your texts didn't wake me up."
"It's fine, I assumed you were just sleeping in." She replied.
It was clear that Jungkook had just rolled out of bed, his eyes were barely open, and his hair was a disaster, one strand, in particular, standing up.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked, "I know I just woke up my eyes are puffy-"
"No, it's your hair." She chuckled.
He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and looked in the reflection.
"Oh sh- I swear it didn't look like that when I left the house." Jungkook said.
Running his fingers through his hair he yawned, before rubbing his eyes.
"How are you this morning?" Jungkook asked, lazily petting Jay's head.
"I'm okay, better now that I saw you." Hyunji replied and Jungkook slyly slipped his hand around hers . "How are you?"
"I could barely stand up, I worked out yesterday for the first time in two weeks and overdid it. My calves, thighs, abs, and just about everything else you can think of are sooo sore!" Jungkook whined loudly.
"Oh wow, I hate when that happens."
"My aunt has a hot tub and it helps my muscles so much when I'm sore"
"I have a hot tub. . . " Hyunji looked at him, making eye contact. "Why don't you join me tonight?"
"Just us?" Jungkook asked her.
"Yes, unless that makes you uncomfortable."
"No, no, that's great."
"Sounds good."
__________
Jungkook had been eagerly waiting to go to Hyunji for just about all day. The thought of being alone with her made his heart race. Looking at the clock again he practically leaped out of his bed, it was finally time to go over. Jungkook put his phone in his pocket and grabbed his white t-shirt to put it back on. Hearing footsteps he turned around to see Taehyung walking in his room.
