Chapter 4: 65th Hunger Games

My first reaping was a blare along with my second and third.

(two years later)

After my first reaping, reality has sent a fire in my soul. Knowing this new life is not for the weak willed. All I have is my family and Finn. That's all the people that I want in my life. Later in life, I will add people to my friend group, but for now things are fine. I will do anything no matter what to protect the people I love with my dying last breath!

The days return to normality after that dreadful day, but the looming pressure of the games are blasted everywhere you go, as well in the back of your mind. Peacekeepers forcing districts to watch children slaughter each other like animals in cages to be viewed, and forcing those childrens' families to watch their family member murder and be killed by others their age. All you can really do is to cry, to yell out to a screen for some support, pray to a gog, and to hope your family member survives.

The 63rd Hunger games ended with a career win from district 1. A boy named Gloss took home the best prize you could ever get is your spared life. That year went on, and a victory tour throughout the districts occurred. The capital is just rubbing the victor down our throats like every year. It was like a form of strategy to put fear in their people as well as show you are not safe from the ever looming watchful eyes.

The year was barely halfway over. Reapings occur every July 4. July became more like a month of death. Throughout the remainder of the year, I would continue to plan, learn, and practice all my abilities as best I can.

During that time, Fin would join me, when he had the free time to do so. Watching him train made me realize he was a natural. He used a trident with a practice ease, and his combat skills did not lag behind. He thrives near the water as well. He holds unparalleled strength in his body and mind. His courage knows no bounds and his heart of gold shines so bright.

I will help him in any way possible, and pray for his well being. I knew his time in the Hunger Games was growing near. We live our lives the way we want. We trained, we laughed, we played, hoped together, and dream together. The more time we spend together, we grow even closer.

As months went by, the 64th hunger games went by. It was another win for district 1. It was the one year younger sister of Gloss, Casamere. By his point, I knew the clock was ticking. I felt the sense of urgency to push Finnick, but I knew I shouldn't. I was just worried for him, and I knew what lies ahead of him.

These two years that went by did wonders to Finnick's and I's appearances. Finnick had grown taller, I will say around 5"11', but he still had room to grow to reach his final height of 6' 1". He was bulker, stronger, and toned muscles line his body. He grew closer to how he would look later in life. His short wavy bronze hair, sea green eyes that always have a glint to them. Finnick was and always will be an attractive young man.

While, Finnick grew and became a man I knew he would be. I had finally reached my full height of 5'5" and to never grow an inch again. I had short straight black hair, with my striking sea green eyes. I gained some muscles, but they were not highly noticeable. As time went on, my figure became eye-catching. My slender form with slightly toned muscles was packed with unseen power. I tried my best to bulk up, but it never worked. I was blessed and cursed with my mother's petiteness and her curvy flawless structure. With my beautiful face that draws in both women and men, and a butt that will make any woman jealous. I'm not going to complain, because as a gay man, a self proclaimed power bottom. I thought my body looked great, and definitely my plump perky bubble butt. You can't blame me for admiring myself, who wouldn't. Plus, I'm trying to get a husband and lose my virginity this time around.
