Rudy POV

    After a few days went by, I started to plan our wedding with some help from Finnick. The wedding was a small one, and only a few people were going to attend. Those people are my mom, dad, older brother, and Mags. We just don't want President Snow getting wind of our marriage.

    My mother and I bought all the things we needed for a small ceremony throughout the months. The wedding is going to take place in the backyard of my parents' place. The view will be of the ocean and the open clear skies. We will be marrying by a cliffside that overlooks the ocean. It is the most beautiful and the most private place that we could get married at. Finnick inserted some ideas and things he wanted for our wedding, so we took into consideration of his ideas for the wedding planning.

    My father helped out any way he could, along with my unwilling brother. Leon was a little peeved at Finnick, but they made up in the manner of minutes. Leon always saw Finnick as his annoying little brother. The plans went smoothly and will be done soon. There were not a lot of things needed because the guest list was so very small.

    The funny thing is Finnick asked my dad to Officiate the wedding. I thought it was hilarious and a great idea. My mother and brother thought it was funny as well. So, I didn't mind that my father was willing to do so. This idea of Finnick's probably got him in my father's good grace.

    We had finally set on a date for our wedding. We decided the month of June on the 30th of that month. Our wedding will be three days after Finnick's birthday and four days till the 66th hunger games reaping day. The day will be somewhat warm with clear open skies. It does not get that hot in district 4 due to the ocean and it's ocean breeze. So, it is going to be the perfect day to get married on. I never thought or dream of the possibility of ever getting married before, but I am happy that I am now. I get to marry my soulmate and the one I love the most in this world. I will always and forever love Finnick. He is going to be the best husband to have and the best future father towards our future children. I could not ask for anyone better than him to be my husband or father of my future kids.

    As three months went by, and It finally became early October. The wedding was still in its planning phase but everything is going smoothly. However, there was something bugging and eating me up inside. I want to tell my parents and brother about me entering the next hunger games because I want them to have time to adjust to the idea.

    Finnick and I just hadn't gotten around to telling them about my insane idea and plan. I was very nervous to do so. However, with time moving so quickly and only nine more months left for the next hunger games reaping and 8 more months till my wedding. I had to tell my parents and brother sooner than later.

    As a couple, Finnick and I, Had decided to tell my parents and brother on October the 4th. We just choose the day they will be home all together and we only hope and prayed for the best outcome with the news. They will be disappointed and angry about it; but they will grow to understand why I have to do it. They will always support my life choices but this time it will take all their willpower to do.

    These past months, I had spent them with Finnick and the rest of my family. I was moving between spending time at Finnick's place and at my parents'. The day before, we had a talk with my family. I spent the night at Finnick's home, and we talked about how we were going to break the news and how to say it without getting my family riled up. There is no right or wrong way to go about it. Feelings are going to hurt and people are going to voice their opinions no matter what.

    The very next day, bright and early, Finnick and I headed off to my family's home. Hand in hand we went and walked silently towards our destination. Every now and then, Finnick would look at me with a nervous look on his face because he knew he might be going to face my father's and brother's brunt of anger fueled opinions. I just squeezed his hand in reassurance and as long he does not say something dumb then he will be fine, right?
