I sat beside my best friend Wanda. I looked over at Yelena laughing with Kate about something and rolled my eyes. "You know, if you never tell her how you feel, then she's never going to be yours" Wanda nudged me.

"It's not that easy Wands. She's different and I am saving myself the embarrassment beforehand. She doesn't feel the same" I said secretly looking over at the pair having a good time.

"How do you know that, you've never asked her" Wanda questioned. I have been around Yelena long enough to know that she didn't feel the same. She always talks about other girls and I just sit and listen.

"Oh come on Wanda it took you months before you fessed up to vision" I told Wanda finally turning my attention towards her. "And I regret taking that long. All I'm saying is if you wait any longer you might just lose her to someone else" Wanda was right.

"Every time I get around her I feel all dizzy and I say things I don't want to say instead of what I'm really feeling. If I tell her it might ruin our friendship. I'd rather be her friend then be strangers" I told Wanda honestly.

"Yeah but then you would suffer in silence and I don't want to see my best friend in pain" Wanda always had a way with words. "Aww you do care about me" I said sarcastically making her push me over on the couch.

"You're an idiot" she said laughing. "Yeah but you love me" I said smirking. She helped me up and we went to the meeting room for the meeting Tony called.

YELENA POV
I watched as y/n and Wanda came in the room smiling. It annoyed me how close the two were or how Wanda looked at y/n with glowing eyes. I knew that Wanda was with vision, but it still bothered me to see them enjoying each others company.

"Alright everybody, we are going to get started" tony said getting everyone's attention but mine. I zoned out for the whole meeting, as my eyes were focused on a certain green eyed brunette.

If only she knew how I felt towards her. It started as a small crush and then it grew after time because, well the girl had me hooked. Every meeting, sparring lesson, mission, soon enough y/n was the only thing on my mind. She was smart, skilled at everything she did, and was a fun person to be around.

Soon enough and the meeting was over and I had went back to reality after being in y/n lala land for the whole thing.

We were all in the living room and I couldn't help but feel jealousy towards the pair sitting across the room. Y/n was sat in a chair and Carol was standing up talking to each other. She made y/n laugh leaving me in total oblivion. Why was she even here? Even though I get jealous of Wanda and y/n, I would much rather them to hang out rather than y/n and carol.

Natasha came and sat beside me. "Your jealousy is showing Lena" Natasha said snapping me out of the trance I was in. "I don't get it. How is that petty hunk of a alien making her laugh" I said with my voice laced with anger.

"Lena if you never tell her how you feel then you'll always be stuck watching her move on with someone else" Natasha was right.

"I can't just tell her how I feel Nat. I get all clumsy and clammy, and when my mouth opens it never forms words or the right words" I explained to Natasha.

"The worst thing that could happen is your not friends anymore and I doubt that y/n would push you away as a friend" Natasha said. "I'd rather be her friend then be strangers" I said honestly. "Well, I can't make you do it, but just know that I don't like seeing my sister suffer in silence" Natasha said making me laugh. "Aww you love me" I said making fun of her. "Don't push it" she said getting annoyed.

It was time for bed, so I was walking to my room.
Y/n's room is right next to mine and she had went to bed early. I sat in deep thought wondering if I should knock on the door or not. I took my chance and knocked.
