I woke up with cold sheets. Florence wasn't there. I was really hoping I would wake up to the blonde. I groaned as I sat up in bed.
Today I had the day off, and I thought my girlfriend was the same. I got up and got dressed. Today was going to be a pain in the butt. I walked into the kitchen and still no Florence.
I check the living room, the backyard, her office, the bathroom, the dining area, but she was nowhere to be found. I didn't feel like calling her because I was mad at her.
Why would she just leave me knowing this was probably the only day I would have off in a while.
It had been hours and still no Florence. I was worried none the less, but my mind couldn't help to think of other things like she could be cheating on me. I pushed that thought away immediately because she would never do me like that.
I went to the kitchen to make myself diner. Yep she had been gone that long. As I was fixing my food, the door opened. I didn't need to turn around to know who it was, so I just kept cooking.
The arms I was supposed to wake up to this morning were wrapped around my waist. She leaned her head to the side and kissed my neck. "Hey baby" she let go of me and stopped and just stood there because I didn't give her a response.
She followed me to the fridge and spoke again "y/n baby come on." I just kept going like she wasn't even there. "You're not seriously ignoring me right now are you" she huffed breath and lightly grabbed my chin turning my face to hers. I grabbed her hand and moved my face from it and continued to cook.
I grabbed my food and went to the living room to eat my food. Flo came and stood in front of me "baby please talk to me" she laid both hands on my thigh.
I continued to eat my food and watch tv. " darling please talk to me" she completely stood in front of me now blocking the tv. I looked up at her and rolled my eyes finally getting to clean up my mess.
"Baby please I'm sorry" I laughed irritated. "What's funny" she asked. "What's funny is how you've been gone all day and didn't even tell me that you were leaving" she cut me off "y/n" I stopped her. "Don't
y/n me Florence you knew this was my only day off this month and you just decided that you were just going to leave no words no kisses. You know I was really looking forward to waking up to my girlfriend that oh by the way I barely get time to actually sit down and spend time with. I mean what did expect when you got here this late, I was just going to give you anything you want. Sorry isn't going to help the fact that you weren't here today to be with me Florence. I need to go" I walked away to grab my bag.
She grabbed my hand "wait don't leave, look I know I should have told you that I was leaving" I moved my hand out of her grip. "Where were you" she didn't say anything. I walked away again. She grabbed my hand again "baby wait" I pulled away again. "No, you can't even tell me where you went Florence, I'm not doing this. Tell me where you were at and I'll stay here with you and I'll forget anything happened" Florence looked hesitant at first.
"I was......I was going to go and get you your favorite drink since we don't have it here and I can't make it no matter how hard I try. As I was in town, I drove by this vacation place. It was packed in there so the line was long and it took hours before I could get to the front. You have always wanted to go to Hawaii so I got plane tickets and a really nice hotel room made for two by the water. Then after I left I got held up in traffic and now I'm here, I promise everything I said is true. Here look at the plane tickets" she pulled out the tickets and placed them in my hand.
"You know this still doesn't change the fact that you didn't spend today with me" I gave the tickets back to her. "I can make it up to you in a week in Hawaii and tonight" she sent me a smirk.
