YELENA POV
"Why wouldn't you go to Bruce y/n" I asked the girl sitting in front of me. "Because" she was having a hard time telling me.
"Y/n baby you can tell me okay" I said softly and I watched as tears began to well up in her eyes. "I had came back from my mission this morning and I had to give Bruce a health checkup for me and he was angry. He said that I knew about his crush with Natasha and about how I ruined it by telling Natasha to talk to Steve. I told him that I really didn't know about his feelings for Nat. And he" she didn't finish her sentence.
She couldn't look me in the eyes. I pulled her face to mine and gave her a soft kiss. "Come on just finish the story" I encouraged her.
"He was angry, I kept backing away from him and he kept coming closer. His face was turning green, but before he turned all the way green he took the medical scissors and stabbed me in my lower abdomen" she finished and I felt boiling heat rise up in me.
"Lena it was probably an accident, I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it" she held onto my shirt. "He stabbed you" was all I said before walking out to find Bruce.
There he was standing in the kitchen. I took the liquor bottle that was sitting on the counter and smashed it against his head and tackled him outside into the pool.
I fought him as we stunk to the bottom of the pool. We both came up for air and he tried to run away once got out. I ran after him and took him to the ground. I punched him multiple times and stood up over him.
"Don't you ever put your fucking hands on her again" y/n came running up and pushed me back away.
Natasha came running out and helped Bruce up. Y/n dragged me into our room. She ran the shower water and turned to me as I was sitting on the counter watching her.
She came up and stood between my legs. She brushed the wet hair out of my face. "Thank you for doing that" she said softly and I looked into her green eyes. "But you know as well as I know that there's going to be a punishment" her eyes brought me a sense of peace and calmness. They gave me energy when I needed it the most. It gave me a whole other world where it was just me and her and nobody could take it away.
"Yes I know, but it was so worth it" I said laughing and she laughed with me. I leaned in and met her soft plump lips. She was everything and more. I slipped off the counter and picked her up onto my waist. Without her knowing, I came closer to the shower and opened it quietly.
She let and caught onto what I was doing. "Yelena I have clothes on No" she held her arms out blocking me from putting her in the shower.
I pushed her in as she couldn't hold on any longer and held her up as the water travelled down our bodies.
"I am going to kill you" she yelled as the hot water hit her. She got down her feet and pulled me in for a kiss. We walked to the door and she opened it without breaking the kiss and shut the door in my face.
"No fair" I yelled out to her. "Sucks to suck baby" she said in a cocky way and walked out. After my shower I had to go to fury's office.
I sat in his office beside Bruce. "Okay since you two don't know how to get along. I'm sending you both on a five month mission together. When you come back you better be nice to each other. This is also a punishment for one Yelena you can't fight other avengers unless your training or their evil. Bruce you can't stab y/n just because your crush doesn't like you back. So, to go along with that, you will have no other contact other than me. That means no y/n Yelena, so before you leave spend time with her because you won't be able to speak or see her for five months" fury smiled and sent us away.
I walked into y/n's room. She was reading with her glasses. She looked up to me and smiled. I sat on the edge of the bed thinking about how I was going to tell her.
She came to where I was and wrapped her arms around my neck from behind and laid her head on my shoulder. "What's on your mind" she whispered in my ear.
"I got my punishment and I have to go on a mission for five months and I won't be able to have contact with anyone. And I'm stuck with Bruce" I explained to her and she chuckled.
"Well since I won't be able to see you in five months, how about we lay down, turn on a movie, and spend the night cuddling" she suggested. "I like that idea" I turned on a movie and climbed beside her in the bed and held her close.
"I'm going to miss you" she said looking into my eyes. "I'm going to miss you more" I said and we both fell asleep to the movie.
That was five months ago and now I'm on the last day of the mission and I'm almost home.
I get on the jet with Bruce, who now is on good terms and I no longer want to rip his head off. I landed the jet at the compound. Natasha came running and gave me a tight hug. "Oh my gosh, I didn't think I would miss you this much" which was her way of saying I love you. "I'm so glad to be back" I smiled.
I looked around and realized y/n was there to meet me when I came back. I turned to Nat. "Where's y/n" I asked and Natasha turned her attention to me.
"To be honest I haven't seen her today" Natasha said and I went running inside the compound looking for her. I went to her room first and she wasn't there. Then in the main parts of the compound. The last place was the training room.
I walked in and there she was sparring with Bucky. Her sports bra and leggings showing all her curves and good parts. I stood to the side to watch her fight. She jumped in the air and double kicked Bucky in the face making him fall to the ground.
She laughed and helped him up. "Next time I won't go easy on you" Bucky said taking her hand. "Yea right I totally beat you fare and square" it felt so good to hear her voice.
She let down her hair and I noticed she had blonde highlights it kind of made her hotter.
I stepped in fully. "Am I in the right place, I'm looking for the bathroom" I asked trying to get her attention. "Lena" she came running over and jumped up wrapping her legs around my waist. "I love the hair it looks hot on you" I said making her laugh.
"It was a random idea and I liked it" she looked up and leaned in for a kiss. "Okay lovebirds that's enough take it to the bedroom" Bucky said walking out the room.
We laughed and leaned in for another kiss.
