Yelena had been on a mission all day today. It was in the afternoon and she should be almost back.

I was sitting in our room reading a book, when she walked in. "Hey baby" I said smiling acknowledging that she had entered the room. She didn't say anything back and she went to the bathroom.

I was confused to say the least. I just chose to leave it alone and continue to read my book. When she came out the bathroom she didn't say a word and just laid on her side of the bed, got under the covers, and turned her back to face me.

"Baby I found a new book to read" I said excited. She didn't reply. I thought of a way to talk to her and get a response, but I couldn't think of anything. "If you don't want to talk then that's fine, goodnight" I laid a kiss on her shoulder and turned over to go to sleep myself.

The next morning I woke up and Yelena wasn't beside me. I went to go find her. She was in the training room working out. I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Hey I was looking for you" she cut me off and pushed my arms off of her. "Please just leave me alone" she said rudely.

I felt a lump in my throat not being able to form words because I was in shock. "Okay, I see you later" I walked out the room. I felt horrible. It hurt being yelled at by Yelena like that. She was always my comfort person and she made me want to be alive.

Now I feel like I'm on the edge of the world and she's pushing me to jump off. Like a knife in my heart.

I didn't want to cry, crying was for the weak. I walked into the kitchen and Natasha was by herself drinking her drink.

"Hey y/n, you okay" she asked looking concerned. "Yeah I'm fine" I replied and hurried out the room and went to my room to take a breather.

Yelena walked in and went straight to the bathroom not even acknowledging that I was in the room. She walked out and out on some comfortable clothes. As she was changing I spoke up. "Hey I was thinking and I wanted to know if you maybe wanted to go shopping with me tomorrow" Yelena would never pass up a shopping trip.

She took a deep breath. "No" she said angrily. "Why" she cut me off "just because I don't feel like it y/n, now shut up and leave me alone" I was speechless.

I went back to reading my book and didn't say another word. For the rest of the day, I didn't say a word to anyone. Even at dinner, I just sat playing with my food, I didn't have an appetite.

I hurried to bed before anyone could stop and talk to me. I laid down in the bed in the dark. I listened as Yelena opened the door and laid on her side of the bed, but I could tell her back was facing me.

I have never felt this alone. Even in hydra, when I was in a cold cell. I had never felt so alone and I didn't know why. I was surrounded by all these people, but it's just something about Yelena pushing me away, that makes me feel alone.

The next morning it was the same. Yelena wasn't beside me when I woke up, so I didn't even bother to go and look for her, after all she was just going to yell at me anyway.

I sat in the kitchen and stared at the glass full of coffee. Natasha walked in with Wanda. "Hey y/n" I could hear her say, but I didn't answer.

I felt someone tap me on the shoulder causing me to look up. "Hey you okay" it was Wanda. "Yea I'm fine" I smiled and went back to staring at the glass.

"Y/n you're not okay. You've barely ate anything. You won't talk to anybody and everyone you run away from a conversation" Natasha spoke up.

"I...I" I couldn't speak. I felt tears brimming in my eyes. I broke down in Wanda's arms. She pulled me into a tight hug. "Whoa what's wrong" she said out of concern. "I just don't know what to do anymore. Every time I try to talk to her she just cuts me off and yells at me. I feel so alone and I don't know why, because I'm surrounded by people. I just don't know what I did wrong" I cried out.

Wanda held me close. I could see Natasha become red. She was angry. She rushed out the room and I ran after her. She rushed into the training room and pushed Yelena. "What's your problem" Natasha yelled at Yelena. "Don't touch me" Yelena pushed Natasha back.

"You need to get out of your head and pay attention to what your doing. You're hurting your girlfriend. Look at her" Yelena averted her eyes towards me.

My tear stained face and the dark circles under my eyes from little sleep. I watched as her eyes were opened and she realized what she had been doing. "I don't know what your problem is, but you need to fix it before you lose a really important person in your life" Natasha yelled at Natasha and walked towards me.

"Next time tell me sooner" she smiled and walked out. I walked towards Yelena and held her face in my hands. She looked away from me. "Yelena" I said trying to get her to look at me.

"I hurt you" she didn't even turn to look at me. "No it's okay, just tell me what's wrong with you" I said trying to push away the needed tears. She hesitated so I grabbed her face and pulled it towards mine pulling her for a kiss. I let go and she opened her eyes. "Whatever it is you can tell me" I looked deeply into her eyes.

"The mission I went on, it just made me mad. Everything that could've went wrong, went wrong and when I got home I was just so angry. I didn't mean to push you away or hurt you. I just was so angry, I'm so sorry" I knew Yelena felt horrible for hurting me.

"You can always tell me anything on your mind" I looked into her eyes. "I know" she leaned down to hug me. She pulled me into a tight hug and laid her head on my shoulder.
