Being an ex-avenger is hard. You have to stay out of sight and you can't go around the city like you used to.

I had a mask on because I didn't want to be seen. I was at a coffee shop near Times Square. It was early in the morning.

I sat to myself in the corner watching whoever walked in. I was being followed by shield and I was on the prison list.

I had chosen Steve's side, while my girlfriend or used to be girlfriend sided with stark. Yelena Belova, she chose her sister over me. I'm mean what can I say, it's her sister. Although it did hurt,  I try not to think too much about it.

The bell on the door rung and a certain blonde walked in. I guess it was just my lucky day. I immediately stood up and began to walk out. As I was walking by I accidentally bumped into her shoulder. I quickly ran out the door.

I looked back to see if she was following me, and she was. I cut the corner and kept running.

YELENA POV

It's been four years since I last saw her. The betrayal that was written all over her face hurt my heart. I had just stopped running from the red room, I couldn't run again. So, I choose my sisters side.

I miss her smile, her curly hair, her laugh, her being clingy because I had been gone on a mission, her food she made me, her jokes that weren't really that good but you laughed anyway because of her smile, her being mad at me because I said something in the wrong way knowing I didn't mean it like that, her childish behavior, the way she would act as if she was stronger than Thor himself, her love for cartoons and reality tv shows, her big heart for children even though I couldn't give her none, when she would always cause a argument between Bucky and Sam, her dislike for Ross, her love for books, the way she would sing her heart out in the shower, and last but not least her green eyes.

I wanted to go out in town for some coffee. Y/n would always beg me to go with her to a coffee shop. I always said no and made the excuse that I was to tired.

I walked in and this girl with a hoodie bumped into my shoulder. The first thing I noticed was her eyes. She quickly ran out the door.

I then realized, no one has eyes like y/n. I knew her body or her face up and down. It had to be her. I ran after her. She was faster than she used to be. She cut the corner and jumped the wall pretty quick.

I was out of breath. She had no where to go as we came to the end of the alley. She had her back facing me. "Please don't run away" I asked softly out of breath. She turned around slowly. She looked up and out of nowhere she began running towards me. She kneed me in the chest knocking the breath out of me. She was stronger too. I quickly got up still in pain and grabbed her arm.

She hammered her arm down knocking my hand off her arm. I pushed her into the wall and she stepped on my foot making me let go of her.

She ran past me going back over the wall. I went after her again. She climbed up a ladder and climbed to the roof.

She was doing parkour across the building. She was really fast. I guess after a while she's had to run a lot. I tackled her before she could jumped again. We went rolling. I had her pinned down.

I looked into her eyes, the one thing that could bring me to my knees. They weren't the bright green color they were back then, now they were more grayish. I saw a flash a purple light glowing from her eyes. She was fighting the urge to make me move.

"Take the mask off y/n" I told her hoping she would listen. "Get off of me" she yelled out trying to get from under my grip. I stood up and watched her dust herself off. She began to walk away "so you're just going to walk away like I'm not here" I yelled out to her.
