Vivienne's POV

We all piled into the car and the driver was not taking us to Kenji's guest house. I wonder where he was taking us. Celinda was still tipsy, so she was talking with Akio about something in her own little world. He just smiled at her. Aw, they would be a cute couple.

The driver ends up pulling up at the really fancy-looking house that looked like the bathrooms were pristine! What? It's something I think about. He stops the car and steps out, offering to open the door. Kenji gets out first and offers his hand. I take it and he helps me out. I was still a little tipsy so I did stumble but Kenji caught me before my face made friends with the concrete ground.

My face turned red as I felt his hands on my waist.

"Um, thank you," I tell him.

"Anything for you, baby." Baby? Did he just call me baby?! We walk up to the impressive mansion and the doors opened. Two lines of maids and butlers were lined up and bowing at the door.

"お帰りなさい、ケンジ先生." They all chorus. Wow, that's a little overwhelming.

"私が言うまでみんなを隠しておいてください." Kenji says. They all bow once again and disperse from the room. Kenji turns back to me and grabs my hand.

"Vivienne, there's something that I need to tell you. I don't know how you will take it so I need you sober. Come with me." He leads me into the kitchen where he pours me a large glass of water. He slides it over to me and I take it, drinking it until there was nothing left. My stomach hurt from drinking that much but whatever he needs to tell me seems important so I needed to be sober. Tipsy me would laugh.

"Okay. Now what?" I ask.

"Let's move to the living room so you can sit down when I tell you this." After moving to the living room, I notice that Akio and Celinda are missing.

"Where did Celinda and Akio go?"

"They are preparing something for you to see. But I need to tell you this first. Have a seat." I sit down on the couch, feeling a little nervous.

"Okay...what's going on?" I ask. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"This isn't how I wanted this to come out. But you need to know. So, here it is. Do you remember our conversation about supernatural creatures?" I nod.

"Yes, what about it?"

"Well, you said that you really liked Lycans, right?" My eyebrow raises.

"Yes..." I say, cautiously. He took a deep breath and said.

"There's no easy way to say this but...I'm a Lycan. In fact, I am next in line for the throne of the kingdom. As Lycans, we have forever soulmates called a fated lover. And you are mine. My fated lover." He seemed really nervous about my reaction. My eyes blinked for a minute straight and I nod.

"Okay. Cool." His eyes widened.

"Wait, you're okay with this?" He asks me.

"Yeah. I'm pretty open-minded about this kind of thing. I have always wanted to meet a Lycan but I never thought they existed. So, this is pretty exciting for me. Can I assume that Akio and Celinda are Lycans too?" I ask. I tried so hard not to laugh at his shocked face. I guess he's surprised by how easy I am taking this.

"Y-Yes, you assume correctly. Are you sure you're okay with all of this?" I giggle and nod.

"Yeah. I told you, I love Lycans. I never thought that I would meet one in real life and be their fated lover but hey, that's life I guess." His body relaxed with how tense it was.
