Elicia's POV

I stared at her, shocked. She found her mate. This is amazing!

"Wow, that's great! Do you think he's a pack member here?" I ask.

"I think so. No one can stay here unless they have permission from the Alpha." That's true. Dad knows everyone and anyone that comes through to this pack. Indeed, he would have said if someone was coming onto the territory. Heavy D makes eye contact again before gesturing to meet him in the back. 

"Oh my gosh, he wants to meet up! Come on!" She grabs my hand and we go to the back where the men's changing room is. We were stopped by heavy security.

"No one comes back here," One of them said, gruffly.

"Yes, well, I'm meeting up with Heavy D. He gave me fuck me eyes in the ring just now." My eyes widened at what she said.

"Hmm, well, all right. Let me get confirmation first though." He whispers in the other guy's ear and Margot and I just stare at each other. Man, this is an elaborate scheme that they are running here. But I understand.

"Fine. You two can come in." I'm sorry, did he say two?

"Oh, I don't need-" Morgot grabs my arm and pulls me with her to the back.

"Elicia, I can't do this alone. Just stay here with me. Please." I sighed in frustration.

"Fine." We make it to a hang-out room, break room if you will, where there are a couple of people including some groupies. We scan the room for Heavy D and Margot gasps. I follow her line of vision and see Heavy D and Criss Cross, smoking a blunt I assume. From my line of vision, I don't think Criss Cross has his blindfold on. We made our way over and Heavy D turned in our direction. He smirks, crossing his arms.

"Well, well. I can't believe I found my little mate. Hello, darling. What's your name?" Margot's cheeks went red as she giggled like a dumbass. At least his aura tells me he's not a bad person. His aura was a cool Braves Navy, a perfect compliment to her Sunshine Yellow.

"Um, hi. I'm Margot. And this is my best friend in the entire world, Elicia." When he heard my name, he turned to me and our eyes met. I was right in knowing his blindfold was off but his eyes were the purest form of emerald green I have ever seen. His aura was also green but it was so calming, like Cadmium Green. My mouth dropped open and I could hear Celestina screaming and barking in my head.

Mate! MATE!! It's our mate!

But during her realization of finding her mate, I realized his features looked very familiar. I gasped again and covered my mouth. Just as I was about to say his name, he grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the break room. He dragged me into the bathroom, closing and locking the door.

"You're...!" He covered my mouth and shook his head.

"Don't say my name right now." Oh my, his voice. I nod my head and he removes his hand.

"Wha... I am so confused. I have so many questions!" I tell him. He sighs and nods.

"I'm sure you do. Before you even ask the first one, yes, it's me." I just can not believe that the male in front of me is Cristian Alexander! Why does he act and look like a nerd if he is this jacked?! He could crush those warrior students like twigs!

"I just have to ask, why the getup?" I ask.

"I'd rather people look at me like a nerd than anything else."

"What else would they look at you like?" He turned his back to me and held the sink in front of him.

"There's a reason why you didn't notice me as your mate, Elicia. I'm..." He grits his teeth and sighs again. "I'm a hybrid. I'm a half werewolf, half sorcerer." My mouth dropped once again. Witches and Sorcerers were extremely rare. Other supernatural beasts like vampires would often hunt them down and harness their magic for evil or healing their warriors so they could kill or kidnap more witches or sorcerers.
