So, Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. They are known to be bold, ambitious, and ready for a challenge. They are no stranger to competition and they are fearless. So, it's no surprise that their Greek deity is Ares. Just as Ares, the Greek god of war, embodies courage and aggression, Aries individuals are known for their fearless and competitive nature. Both exhibit an unyielding spirit, often charging headfirst into challenges without hesitation. The character will also have the power of fire manipulation.

Cyrus Ignacio Madden, reincarnation as Ares.

Esme's POV

I clutch my romance books to my chest as I walk through the halls of my high school. Being the new student on your first day of senior year is never good. I'm very nervous about the year but my mom tells me it will be okay. I hope everyone is nice. That's all I ask. I look around to try and find the office. As I was looking, I stumbled into someone hard. I yelp quietly as I fell to the ground. I looked up and my face turned bright red. This guy was so handsome. He had beautiful tanned skin, a nice set of muscles, nice full lips, and a beautiful set of hazel eyes that looked dangerous and fiery. He stared down at me like I was beneath him. But it shocked me when he extended his hand to me.

"Are you okay?" I timidly reached out for his hand and he hauled me up a little too easily and I crashed into his chest. He wrapped his arm around my waist to steady me. My face got even more red as I quickly backed away.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm so clumsy. Um, are you okay? Well, of course, you'd be okay. You're built like a tank. I mean, not in a bad way. You look great. Very muscular." I covered my mouth to stop my rambling. He just smirked and bent down, grabbing the books I dropped. He hands them back to me and I grab them, clutching them to my chest again.

"I'll ask again. Are you okay?" God, he's so much hotter up close. Or as close as I can get with my small stature.

"I'm fine. Thank you for getting my books." He nods.

"What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Esme Rosenthal. I'm new here. I was trying to find the office so I could get my class schedule." He nods again.

"Well, I'm headed there myself. Come on, I'll take you." I smile, nodding. We walk in silence to the office. "Where did you move from?"

"From Brooklyn, New York. My parents got a job offer at a hospital for way more so we moved here."

"What kind of doctors are your parents?"

"My dad is an oncologist and my mom is a pediatrician. They met at the hospital and later had me at the same hospital. It's a cute love story."

"Sounds lovely. So, what are you into?" I looked up and saw him staring at me.

"Oh, I'm a book nerd. I love books. I read a little over everything. But I'm a hopeless romantic. I love experiencing love and seeing a good couple get there happy ever after."

"I kind of figured that. You look like a book nerd. In the cutest way possible." Wait, did he just call me cute?!

"Oh, you think? A lot of people think I'm a little childish because my favorite color is pink." I've gotten lots of different reactions from people. I've been bullied because of it.

"I think it's cute that you like pink." I blushed and smiled. "Well, here we are." We were already at the office? Damn. I wanted to spend more time with him. He opened the door for me and followed me after. The receptionist looked up and smiled at both of us. She was African-American and seemed like the sweetest person ever.

"Hi, sweethearts. What can I do for you?"

"Hey, Mrs. Davis. Need to talk to my old man." She nods.

"He's in his office. You're good to go." He nodded and looked back at me.
