Andrew's POV

The first day of school. It is the bane of anyone's existence. Especially a socially awkward kid who doesn't know how to talk to people and only knows how to be adopted by extroverts. My two friends are the only people I talk to and they have just adopted me. Just saw me one day and decided to infiltrate my life. Not that I'm complaining or anything. They have brought out a side of me that no one else can. I'm in my third year of college and I just turned 21. My friends, James and Landon, surprised me with some of my favorite books and a brand-new bottle of Mead. We also went out to dinner and I had my first drink. Legal, that is. Now, it is time for school again.

James told me he would be at my place in about 15 minutes. Plenty of time to get dressed. I found a white T-shirt, a green and blue flannel, dark blue jeans, and some white sneakers. I combed back my mousey brown hair with bull eyes to match. I wouldn't say I'm a bad-looking guy. I blend in. I have a good amount of muscle on me, I'm pretty tall at 6'0'', get good grades, and have a more than-average-sized dick. But I think I pale in comparison to James and Landon.

Landon was an All-American Ken doll. He had the blonde hair, bright white smile, and bright blue eyes, was captain of the football team, and is still currently dating the head cheerleader of his high school. James was the definition of Tall, Dark, and Handsome. He was a chocolate-colored man, with warm brown eyes, and a bright white smile, captain of the basketball and baseball team, he had charm, and charisma that makes girls and guys drop their drawers. Out of the three of us, I get looked over. A lot.

I hear a car beep from outside my apartment. James must be here. I grab my backpack, keys, and phone before leaving the apartment. I head downstairs and meet up with James. I open the door and he smiles at me.

"What up, man?" He greets.

"Hey. Good morning. How you doing?" I ask him.

"Glad to be alive for another day, my man. Can't wait for this year to start." He starts the drive to the campus.

"Did you have a good summer? You visited family in Louisana, right?" He nods.

"Yeah. I saw my crazy ass uncle. He's still living his life as a single man but has plenty of friends if you know what I'm saying." I laugh and nod.

"I sure do. As you know, my summer was pretty boring. The most fun I had was the week before you and Landon left." James chuckled.

"You know, you need to get out more." I roll my eyes.

"I get out just enough with you and Landon always kidnapping me. Like the strip club a couple of weeks ago?" James burst into laughter.

"Oh yeah! I swear, you are the most awkward person to get a lap dance. And it was so fucking funny!" He continues to laugh and I just punch him in the shoulder.

"Shut up, you dick! All I'm saying is that I am satisfied with hanging out with you two and going to school. Maybe going out on occasion." James turned the corner and drove into the parking lot of the campus.

"So, you saying you don't want to have a girl on your arm and in your bed every now and again? You live alone, man. Make use of that and get a little hottie in your bed." We exit the car and walk onto the campus.

"I don't know, man, You know, I am not the best with picking up girls. I don't have that same thing that you and Landon got going on. I might be looking at being alone for the rest of my life."

"Don't think like that, man. Any woman would be honored to have you as their boyfriend. You're smart, charming, funny, and you're not bad on the eyes," James tells me as we walk into the coffee shop.
