Chapter 30: Illusion
I was just following Gabriel to who knows where. Yes, it's Gabriel who bumped me. I don't know why he suddenly wants me or what he wants to talk about. I don't really care about it.
Tahimik kaming sumakay ng elevator pataas. He's so silent. I can't even read his mind. It's not like I have ability to read it but his face are just blank.
There's own exit for agents if gusto nila lumabas ng headquarters. I don't know how he come up with the idea of going up into the mansion. The class knows the rules and regulations before we got here and alam nilang bawal sila sa mansion kung hindi ko pinahintulutan.
Sumunod na lang ako sa kanya at lumabas na kami patungong bakuran. Huh? Anong gagawin namin dito?
I saw the repears behind the shadows. There's many of them. This is why it's prohibited to step foot inside the mansion. Madami kasing bantay.
I just nod at them indicating it's alright. Alam na nila anong gagawin nila kundi wag na lang kaming pakealaman.
"What are we doing here?" walang tono kong pagbasag sa katahimikan.
The chilly feeling engulfed the darkness of the moonlight. Despite the cold and bitter tension I have on this mansion, this backyard shines the beauty behind this sad place.
It's a huge garden with different bushes of flowers, there's also street lamps that guides to our backyard fountain. The crystalized water shines because of the moonlight. Ito lang ang lugar kung saan hindi ako nasasakal sa loob.
"Sorry for barging in here. I know it's prohibited but I found myself stuck on this spot while I was roaming around the place earlier. Hindi rin ako nakatagal dito dahil pinabalik ako nung butler niyo."
Ahh, same old Luther. Kapangalan niya pa yung kababatang kaklase ko. Buti hindi ito napahamak sa pag e-explore? Kasapi niya na ba si Dora?
Napatigil naman ang pag iisip ko ng tumawa ito.
"B-bakit?" takang tanong ko.
"Wala ka pa rin pinagbago." malumanay na sabi nito at sa ilang segundo nakita ang kalungkutan sa kanyang mata.
"Do I know you?" I ask still confused.
"I forgot I haven't properly introduce myself yet. Gabriel btw," nilahad niya ang kanyang kaliwang kamay. "Gabriel Blackledge." sabay ngiti nito.
"Morgana Simmons." pag tanggap ko ng kamay nito. Mga ilang segundo pa ang tinagal namin at binitawan naman niya.
Parang familiar talaga siya eh. Hindi ko alam kung saan.
"Have we met before?" takang tanong ko sa kanya na ikinabigla ko.
Tsk! Lumalabas na naman sa bibig ko ang nasa isip ko!
"Have we?" pag smirk pa nito.
Teka.. yung ngiti na yan..
Shittt!!
"I-ikaw!" sigaw ko sa kanya sabay turo.
Nagtaka naman siya sa akin kahit halata sa mukha nito na nang aasar.
"Anong ako?"
"Ikaw! Oo ikaw! Pero hindi! Hindi pwede!"
"Ano nga?" natatawa na siya sa itsura ko.
Naguguluhan na at mukha na akong timang sa sa harap nito.
"You're the guy who kissed me at the parking lot!" inis na sigaw ko sakanya.
