Chapter 43: Nefarious

I can't sleep, but the dinner ended peacefully. The guardians seems to adjust and click with them quickly— and that's a good thing. Maybe because they were already together with their Master but in their animal form.

It's already midnight and hours by now we have to leave the academy early. Since they said we will only go there by land and not via teleport. Fluxuate doesn't work in that town since it's a port.

I sighed. There's so much in my mind right now. Hindi daw pwede lahat kami aalis, dahil kapag umatake na naman ang mga dark guilds sa academy— during our mission ay walang mag babantay. My grandfather men's couldn't handle that on their own, so everyone decided that the rest will remained here.

Ken, Mark, Maynard, and Rey Ann, will look around the academy to secure the place.

Luther and Brooke will remained at Hideout with the rest of the spirit guardians to protect them.

Lorenz and Ghiovanni will go to the capital of the main realm in TGV to report the situation of the academy with the dark guilds. The Headmaster told them to do so.

While, Me, Glenn, Gerald, Gabriel, Kim, Florence, Dexter, Earl, and Jerson. Together with the two spirit guardians Raizel and Wilcox will go for the rescue mission. We're outnumbered obviously, we're just eleven people— but, I know we can fight through it; especially that I'm with elite magical abilities users and what they called spirit guardians.

I suddenly felt anxious. I had been at ease for most of the process, odd as that may sound, but the clear eagerness of turbulence gave me pause.

Was I getting into something dangerous?

I ignored my sense of mounting panic. After all, if there's a hidden message, how could I have had any part in it if I didn't know it in the first place?

Kasalukuyan kaming naka-abang sa mismong matatayog na gate ng paaralan. Alas-sais pa ng umaga pero, puro sermon at pinapaalahanan na kami nila Ken at Rey Ann.

"Umayos kayo ha? Mag-ingat kayo." sabi ni Rey Ann.

Halatang kulang sa tulog ang iba sa amin dahil humihikab pa ang mga ito at tulala.

"The carriages are ready." banggit na sabi ni Ken. "Be safe everyone. I want you all to come back here in one piece."

"Kaya na nila yan. Alam na nila ang gagawin wag niyo gawing mga bata yan." naka crossed arm na sabi ni Mark at sumandal sa carriage na gagamitin namin.

I thought we will use a vehicle since I saw they were using it here inside the school. Guess, they're still prefer the old ways.

Maliban sa lahat ako lang ay may bitbit na sandata— yung katana ko. I also bring my other weapons with me, just in case. Ang casual lang nila na mukhang pupunta lang ng mall, parang di nahahalatahan na susubok pala ng laban.

Dalawang karwahe ang nag aabang ngayon papalabas ng academy. Malaki at magara naman ang karwahe at kasya ang lima sa loob. May kutsero din na naghihintay sa amin.

"Sige na, sumakay na kayo mukhang umaambon pa naman." banggit ni Rey Ann. Tinignan ko naman ang langit at makulimlim nga ito.
