The morning sun was shining brightly, casting its light upon the surrounding nature. Eren's friends were keeping a watchful eye over him as he rested, and the sunlight was filtering into the room through the window. Eventually, Eren opened his eyes and surveyed the room.
Mikasa had a frown as he looked at the boy with concern. "Hey. You feel okay?"
He didn't know how he felt at the moment, but he oddly felt no discomfort whatsoever. "Yeah. It's weird how 'okay' I feel, actually," he responded with a hand rubbing his eye, realizing someone was missing from the picture. "Where's [Name]? Did she go somewhere?"
"Commander Erwin sent her on a mission in Wall Rose," Armin explained with his eyes looking down at the ground. "The Cadets in Wall Rose to be precise."
Jean straightened up from leaning on the wall and uncrossed his arms. "It's been hours since she left to deliver a message... The other Cadets aren't far from here," he said.
