Wall Sina. Orvud District.

     "Fire!"

Dozens of cannonballs flew through the air with a loud banging sound. The monstrosity dragged its face on the green plains, destroying the life that lingered in its path. Trees were getting tumbled over and the grass burned down into ashes. The sky was covered in a thick smoke, shielding your view of Rod Reiss's Titan.

A hand broke through the smoke, causing more disaster.

"Looks like the field cannons are even less effective," Commander Erwin huffed in disappointment.

When things were starting to look grim, Hange's cheerful self waved from a distance, "Erwin! I bought the goodies!" Behind them were a bunch of materials such as nets, barrels, gunpowder, and more. "We still need to put it together, though. Oh! Got this too!"

You averted your eyes to the barrel that seemed to get Hange more than excited. "Is that ODM gear?"

"It is!" They exclaimed with a glare in their glasses, "The trigger's held in place, so once fired, it'll wing itself right back up as ODM gear would!"

Everyone then began to set the net onto the ground while listening to Hange's instructions. Meanwhile, Captain Levi, Jean, Sasha, and Connie were sent over to the other end of the wall as you all prepared.

As you set one of the barrels of gunpowder on top of another, you took a deep breath as you brushed your hands together. Everybody around you mainly kept to themselves as they tended to their duties, whether it be stacking the gunpowder, gathering the ropes, or simply checking supplies. You occasionally thought back to the days when Cecilia would chastise your abnormal glances at a certain someone. That Cecilia was gone now.

Your hand reached for your mother's flower on your chest, feeling nothing but your shirt.
