Year 835. Marley.
"Her mother was such a stubborn one, you must understand," the man spoke with his eyes on his infant niece in his arms, sleeping soundly. "She couldn't even let the man she married have freedom... Which is why I want to send her child to that damned devil island."
The commander behind him stood out the window of the man's office, staring at the empty training field. "I must apologize, sir. But to send a fleet to the island now? It's not logical, sir. Nor is it worth our time," he explained, turning on his heel and walking towards the desk. "This child has the potential to become a great titan, being worthy of being a warrior. Yet... you throw that chance away?"
Instead of giving up, the uncle laughed as if to make the commander feel like a fool. "This child is my sister's daughter. Given that fact, you should know the chances of having another murderer running through the streets. But... I think I've come up with a great plan."
"...and what exactly is it?"
"Send one of your warriors to drop this child off near the walls. My child will inherit a Titan and will be sent over to the island years later. She'll be able to find her again and drag her back once those walls fall and everybody is killed. How about it..."
"Commander?"
"..."
"One million dollars."
"Hm."
