THANK YOU AND TAKE CARE!
6 Months Later.
The training ended an hour ago, and Stellan immediately dragged you to the nearest library. As you spent your time going through the agriculture aisle, he drowned himself in books about ship artilleries, some even having stories about famous sailors from other countries. You practically saw stars in his eyes as they skimmed the pages.
You were nearing 17 already, and Stellan had just turned 18 before Navy training began. Initially, you thought how weird it was how you've seen your fair share of war while he hasn't seen a hint of blood spill on the battlefield. That same shine you had in your eyes lingered in his despite you being the younger one.
Every day of every month has been the same for you. Every day or two, it was training with Cecilia and Reiner as a plus-one. You never willingly spoke a word to him or Cecilia. Mr. Hawthorn would be doing some of his work at his workplace and occasionally would do some examinations and tests on you. Harmless, but at the same time, you couldn't bear to be in the same room as him.
But you didn't have to worry about it. He would be gone soon.
"Are you hungry?" he asked you, digging into his book bag. In his hand was a simple sandwich, consisting of cheese and meat. "Here. I remember you saying you were hungry before we got here."
With reluctance, you took it from his hand. "Thanks."
"You're welcome!" he smiled before looking down at the small pile of books you had by your side. "Do you grow things at home?"
