The first person you made eye contact with was Captain Levi, who kept a close eye on anyone who dared to cause trouble the moment they stepped off the ship. Before you stepped off, you gave your gun to Yelena to show your pacifist side.

"I never thought I'd see that look plastered onto your face."

You hesitated to meet his gaze, looking toward the rocky ground below your feet. With just one look at your expression, he could easily read what the hell you had to witness, but many details were hidden behind your tired eyes. Seeing as you were one of the last ones off the ship and just finished dragging out a few resistant ones, he figured to lay off you.

"More ships are coming in. Hange and I will bring you in for questioning after. Don't be a stranger."

It was as if your mouth was glued shut now because all you could answer with was a nod. Two Scouts escorted you into one of the tents at the command of Captain Levi and Commander Hange. With no question, they kept a close eye on you as you remained silent, cooperating with them as any wise person would when being held against your will.

One of the Scouts walked in front, the other behind you. They both held more advanced shotguns compared to before, showing just how Paradis was advancing in technology little by little.

"Sasha, you awake?" you hear a distant voice speak in the distance. Your ears twitched at the familiar voice, making you subtly avert your gaze in that direction.

Mikasa pulled on Sasha's hair as they walked, the brunette holding a shotgun in her arms. She looked like she was going to collapse out of exhaustion at any minute. "Y-Yeah!" she drowsily spoke, eyes widening ever so slightly.

They continued to walk, and you looked back towards the soldier walking in front of you.

They were alive and doing just fine. That's what you had hoped for this whole time.
