The way back is filled with charged air, uncertainty laces the thick tension. Levi takes the infinity to the hospital, where Jess was visiting her mother, while the four of us drive back to the house. We all know what's about to happen. And honestly, its somewhat exciting.

My head floats around the possibility that all this shit could go sideways. Because it really could. We could be making a big mistake by trusting this witch. But then again... what other choice do we have?

When we pull back into the driveway of the house, we wordlessly make our way to the basement. Griffin stops Mallory at the top of the steps, and starts speaking lowly to her. From their body language, I can only guess that he is telling her that she should stay up here. I dont know what all he says to her, but she eventually nods tightly, and he presses a chaste kiss to her forehead. Her eyes hold shock and a flash of anger, but it disappears when she locks eyes with me. She gives me a nod of encouragement, and and smile back at her. She really is the best.

I make my way down the step, behind Theo and in front of Griffin. We all were wronged by this man, its only right we do it together.

When we reach the cell, Theo pulls it open. I walk in and stare at Alosious. He wears a smirk, and his body looks even more thin than the last time I saw him. Good. He deserves to starve.

"Back so soon, huh flower?" He says, thinking hes being downright cute. I dont fake my smile at him this time. I got what I needed, hes good as dead.

Theo and Griffin fill the room behind me, and Alosious' grin falters. "What are they doing here?"

I look back to find my mates eyes trained on his brother, and he looks deadly. Arms crossed, showing his coppery strong muscles, and a look in his eyes that screams lethal. If I were on the other end of that stare, I dont think Id be able to remember I have a spine.

"Dont you dare speak to her unless she tells you to." His voice matches his face, a downright murderous growl.

"I can speak to my mate however I chose to," he retaliates, a wicked gleam in his eyes.

"Im not your anything, " I spit, taking a step forward so he can see my face in the light. I stand right next to Theo, our bodies not touching but our support for one another there. He took from both of us, and we are going to finish him off. Together.

Alosious' face contorts within seconds, realizing that he has been played. A scowl replaces his once confident smirk. "I knew you were lying, you fucking bitch. Good thing I gave you the wrong address and you fell-"

He's cut off with a swift punch from Theo in the face. The crack echos in the room, and I can tell from looking at his face he's trying to recover from the sheer force.

"What did I just say about speaking when spoken to?" Theo asks cooly, seemingly unaffected by the blood that leaks out of his brothers now seemingly broken nose. When Alosious remains silent, Theo looks to me and nods.

"You didn't give us the wrong address, Alosious." I continue, hating the way his name feels on my tongue. "Millicent is a good person. You fucked that story up so bad that she pity fucked you."

I lean closer to him, not close enough to be touched by him, but practically in his face. "You're a sad excuse of a man. Its no wonder the Moon Goddess made sure you weren't destined to be Alpha."

His face contorts, and he tries to lunge at me, stopping inches away from me. Theo reigns him with another sickening punch to his face. He falls back, growling at his brother.
