Streams of light enter the room in an array of oranges and pinks, making me blink back in disdain for being awoken. I squint at the beautiful colors and practically growl, as if they were the ugliest things id ever seen. I was exhausted, and being awoken early wasn't helping that.

A week and a half had passed since I told Theo I would marry him. He insisted on it being as soon as possible, and we had agreed on it being during the mating ceremony. It would be an all day celebration, for the pack, for us, and for it being Christmas Eve. It was sure to be an exciting day.

As he promised, the day after I had woken up to yet another Kleenex ring and a note.

Sorry I destroyed your ring last night, love. Seems to me like we need something that can withstands our nights with one another ;)

Be ready at 12 to go shopping for that diamond.

I came back that day with a antique styled band and cut, loving the way it looked on my hand. We chose it together, agreeing that most of the traditional rings were much too plain to signify our relationship. We wanted something timeless.

The next day after, I took Mal, Jess, and Lea to dress shop with me, finding a beautiful mermaid dress that was classy, elegant, and sexy. The lace back and and intricate long sleeves were just what I imagined Id wear on my wedding day. The gown hugged me like a glove, and I knew even though Theo wouldn't be happy about it, I felt like a wife already. I was beyond excited.

And today is the day.

I quickly shuffled to get ready, warming my curling iron and washing my face. The streams of light began to make the room glow in a comforting warmth. I knew my mother was here, happy I was free of Hank and Kingsley, starting my own life.

And even if that wasn't what she would have told me, I pretended that was the truth.

My best friends barged into the room, squealing in delight when they lay eyes on me. We jump around, chanting about how its my wedding day. We pop open champagne, and begin to ready ourselves. The wedding would be early afternoon, and the mating ceremony shortly after. Once the ceremony was over, Theo and I had planned a night of fun for the kids and families to celebrate Christmas Eve.

Theo was very adamant about this part. He told me it would make our exit more seamless, which I simply rolled my eyes to.

We had slept in separate rooms last night to make the wedding a bit more traditional. About as traditional for two supernatural non virgins who have already tied their souls together. The result was faint bags under my eyes, and a need for coffee.

As if my mind was read, a knock sounds at the door minutes later, and in walks Levi with a basket in one hand and drink carrier in the other.

"Morning ladies!" He chips, he eyes eating Jess up when they reach her.  "And good morning to you. What has you looking so beautiful this morning?"

She blushes at him, continuing to straighten her hair. "I haven't started anything yet, we just got here."
