Someone almost knocked me off by accident while I was on my way out from the restroom. Maybe it was partially my fault because my eyes were darted on the floor all the time that I failed to notice anyone.

Awkwardly I muttered a simple sorry and was about to leave but it take me by surprise when the person knew me.

So, I lifted my head, meeting the female's eyes.

"Oh my god, Ivy," she said, holding my hands. "How long has it been?"

Eyes widening, I specifically remembered this one. She was my classmate, someone who'd make herself fit around anyone, someone who'd make people comfortable around her.

And I always remembered her name - Haneul.

"How can't I notice you from the beginning?" I complained, more to myself. "Wait, I think I saw you talked with Daisy."

She and Daisy were close, now and then. That's how I got along well with Haneul as well. Daisy the cupid.

"And I saw you with Kevin...." a playful look was plastered on her face. A very recognisable one. "What's going on? Are you two finally..."

SOS.

How could I have forgotten this one? That most of my classmates were aware about me having a crush on Kevin?

Well, it wasn't intentional. I had no intention to tell anyone but it just happened when a loud kid started making assumption about the closeness I had with him.

And eventually, that's how I ended up confessing.

"Well... what can I say," I bit my bottom lip. "If the destiny had been written for me and him to be together, I should accept it with open heart right?"

And then we giggled.

Good job Ivy. You're now laughing around someone who's close to be called a stranger. What an improvement.

"I'd like to have much longer talk with you, but seems like we have to stop here," Haneul said in which I agreed. I'd been ditching my friends for too long now. "I hope to see you again later, Ivy."

And we hugged for the last time before we parted ways. Unbeknownst to me, my lips tugged upwards, this brief meeting somehow wasn't that bad.

"Wait.. gosh Kevin," cursing underneath my breath, I must have been so engrossed in this moment that I forgot that Kevin had been waiting for me to go home.

Fixing my dress a bit, I took a leap around the corner towards where he'd said he would be waiting. I hate making people wait for me.

Just a little bit more, just a corner left.

And I pulled an invisible emergency brake at both my feet before I could take another round at the last corner.

Kevin was there with two females I familiar with. They weren't our classmates but for some occasions we met a lot back then.

Why were them with him?

Too much questions in my head, and later I found myself spying.

"Ayee.. just tell the truth Kev," the first girl said, shooting him a teasing look. "You and Ivy are together right?"

Oh they're talking about me.

Wait, what?

"Coming together, matching outfits, always in each other presences. We're very sure that you two are together," the next girl said, brows wriggling.

My lips twitched, there was a force igniting behind my muscle, way too strong. No matter how much I held it back, I just couldn't.

The heat rushing up to my cheeks. I was very sure that my face was now camouflaging the same colour as Kevin's car.
