"You will do good babe!"

"Believe me, I really want to be there. Jacob also said he wants to go as well but we can't."

"I think we are the VVIP," Daisy remarked during the video call, leaving everyone speechless, looking at her through the camera weirdly. "What? Think about it carefully. We don't have to be selected for the greet and meet but one book with the author's signature is already ours."

I chuckled, shaking my head next. I must admit that Daisy was built differently. Even more different than Chanhee.

Speaking of that boy, he told me that he would be here as well. Saying that he wanted to support me, but he canceled the plan at the very last minute, I almost blew up.

"Just wish me luck guys," I sighed, head down as I looked at my shoes. "They told me that a lot of Moonlight is coming and I started to be anxious now."

"Well!" Faye suddenly exclaimed, startling me. "Like I said...... you will be fine."

There was something about her facial expression. It was different from the one she used to wear. Like it was a made-up.

However, I wasn't able to ask her more or confront them when Sangyeon appeared in my view, signaling that it was time to go.

Ending the video call, Sangyeon flashed the sweetest smile as our eyes met. He surely had noticed my hesitancy, beckoning me to come closer to him.

Daddy in action.

"Chin up, Ivy," he advised as we trailed the corridor toward the area they had set up for the event. "You aren't regretting this decision right?"

"Honestly I am," I said, Sangyeon halted his movement, sending me a look of disapproval.

I laughed, patting his muscular arm before I clarified that I was just joking.

"You're lucky that we're just taking 20 persons this time," he said, dragging me forward. "What will happen if I ask the whole Moonlight to come?"

I glared with the sharpest gaze I'd ever had. A gaze that surely could've killed, a gaze that was even sharper than the knife.

"Ivy!"

Again, the loud familiar voice echoed, startling me to the core, my heart was thumping harshly inside my rib cage.

Haknyeon ran towards us, pulling an imaginary brake at his feet before he could crash on us.

"Everyone is waiting. Can we start it now?" the smile on his face had never faded every time I saw him. Was he always looked like a happy puppy?

Eventually, the event started and I was freaked out.

Sitting alone at the table set up and many eyes were looking at me was undeniably awkward. I could feel my hands shaking and my breath hitched.

"You're so pretty," one of my fans said as I signed the book she carried. I was left stunned by her beauty as well. How could she describe me as pretty when she too was amazing?

"Don't make me flattered," I smiled the widest, flapping my palm in the air. It felt weird now - interacting with a stranger. "How long have you been my fans?"

"Since your first book."

"Oh my god," eyes widened, I covered my opened mouth with my palm, focusing on her story about her favorite book of mine.

"Though it's a fiction, it's inspired me."

My heart melted by the remark she did, I swore my eyes were sweating as well. This kind of encouragement was something that had pushed me to rise even higher.
