"Kevin, wait," I jogged towards him who's standing beside his car, his right hand was already on the handle as he looked over me.

I panted as I pulled a halt next to him, touching his car door as if I needed it for a support. But the truth was, I meanT for it to stay closed.

Cunning.

"Why? Did I leave something behind?" he started rummaging every pockets he had on his body. "I have my phone and wallet here."

He looked back at me, this time with a confused look. Specifically when I bit my lower lip in nervousness.

You left my heart behind.

I was struggling to hold myself from speaking out my mind. Maybe on other day I could freely say it out loud, then afterwards I could cover myself up by saying that I was just joking.

However, after he possibly had rejected me, could I still do the same without inviting awkwardness surrounding us?

Slightly shrugging, I sucked in a deep breath before I said, "drive safely and don't be too rushing. Your home won't be running so just take your time and enjoy the scenery. If you feel sleepy, just stop somewhere and get some sleep. And-"

"Ivy.." he laughed and he did it again - tugging on my sleeve. "You've been reminding me about that for 5 times already."

"You count?"

"Well," his face scrunched as he looked at the sky, lips puckered. "I couldn't help it. Now your voice is like a broken tape inside my head. I don't think I'll be sleepy."

He let go of my sleeve and pocketed his hands.

No..

I forgot that I couldn't really hide my feeling from being seen on my face. And right now, I must have been portraying my disappointment with such an unpleasant expression.

If not, Kevin surely won't be pondering, studying my face thoroughly.

"Why?" he questioned, concreting my guess.

I blinked, taking a step back and no longer holding his car.

Why must I be such a weak girl when it came to someone standing really close to me or when all the attention was on me?

It wasn't like this opportunity - to have him close, would be available every single time. Who knows if this would be the last time?

Some more, I didn't think there would be anyone who refused to admiring a beautiful creature like Kevin Moon in such a close proximity. I should be grateful that I got the chance without doing much.

"Nothing," I beamed, springing on my heels. "I... just...-"

"Go now Kevin," another voice that I recognized as Chanhee's joining us, pulling me away from him. My arm was in his grasp, he was strong despite the almost none percentage of trans fat in his body. "You don't want to be stuck in a heavy traffic, don't you?"

I stole a glance at Chanhee, slightly pouting. Why must he push Kevin away when I apparently wanted him here for a little bit longer?

Eventually, I became both Chanhee's and Daisy's hostage. Their arms around mine on both sides were linked, at the same time Kevin pulled his car into the driveway, muttering 'see ya' through his window.

As he was far enough, both of them finally let me go. Chanhee crossed his arms while Daisy tutted, "Ivy, you're insane. Anyone could tell that you were stalling."

"I did," I sighed, lowering my gaze to the tiny walking creatures along the tar.

Ants? How they could be here? Perhaps the sweetness of my encounter with Kevin had been dripping down that even insects were attracted to.
