Epilogue
Denver's POV
The day I marry Rain was the best day of my life. I promise to her, to God, in front of our family, friends, and relatives that I will love her endlessly.
Our life as a marriage couple have been good. We did everything that we've been dreaming of. It feels like we're living in a fairytale life, until it change.
I was on a meeting with Athena but suddenly I feel like vomiting. I immediately went on the Cr and I vomit blood. I was shock for a moment and I hurrily get up. I was about to go back but Athena was standing behind me.
"Mr. Cassidy, did you ju-"
I cut her off, "let's go." I said without any emotion.
The other day, it keep on happening to me, and I feel a lot of pain on my body. I didn't dare to tell it to my wife because I don't want her to worry about me.
"Mr. Cassidy I have a friend, his a doctor. If you want to have a private check up. You can contact him." Athena said while handing me a card.
Inabot ko ito at walang pasabing umalis.
I stare at my wife while she's sleeping peacefully in my arms. I can't help but to think all of the pain and sadness that she's been through. I can't tell her, it's not healthy for her to know about this.
I decided to went on Palawan where I plan to meet the Doctor, but before that I spent time with my wife.
I made up stories so I can go and she believed it.
I was shocked when the doctor said that I have an unknown deadly virus inside me. It quickly spread and it is impossible now to stop it, as it has no cure.
"Will I die?" I ask nervously.
He look away and apologize, I can't believe it, I feel like my world suddenly turn upside down.
We talked about my condition and then I suddenly passed out.
When I wake up, I check my phone and I saw my wife message and I immediately reply.
I kept on thinking on what should I do when Athena suddenly enter.
"What are you doing here?" Kunot-noong tanong ko sa kaniya.
I really don't like her, the way she look, she dress and her plastic attitude.
"I'm here to help you."
Napataas ang kilay ko sa sinabi nito.
" How?"
She told me about her plan and I immediately disagree and drove her away.
" Think about it, Denver. Call me when you made up your mind." Huling wika nito.
I think deeply on what she said and I admit that she has a point.
I'm sorry my wife, but I have to do this in order to save you.
I'd rather hurt you, so you can forget me and live happily, eventhough without me.
"Over. my. dead. body" rain said coldly.
She was hurt that she ran away. I regret it, this is Athena's stupid idea. I immediately leave everything and assign everyone to look for her. It was raining and she was alone.
Para na akong nababaliw habang nagmamaneho kung saan-saan. Hanggang sa may nakapagsabing nasa hospital ito.
" Should I call her husband?" I heard someone said while I was on my way there. I was about to open the door when suddenly I hear her voice.
